Bidding for the 2015 FMF World Cup
It's that time of year again; time to open up bidding for hosting rights to the 2015 FMF World Cup. Keeping with the FMF's rotation policy of different confederations hosting the tournament, this year's is eligible to be hosted by either an AEFA or a WMFA nation. Our last AEFA hosts were the late Antica in 2012, and Shireroth last hosted on behalf of the WMFA the year prior.
The 2015 World Cup will be the tenth staging of the tournament, the last to be held on an annual basis (the next one after this won't be until 2017) and the first to be competed for by twenty teams in the finals!
The bidding process will run from now until the 30th of November (giving those interested more-or-less seven weeks to compile and submit their bids), and bidding nations should fill-out the following form here:
AEFA
Apollonian Republic
Aryasht
Dura
Flanders
Fort Kolgrad
Gerenia
Gong
Gotzborg
Lakkvia
Neo Patrova
Novatainia
Réunion
River Warriors
Senya
Stars
Stormark
Toketi
Victoria
WMFA
Amokolia
Batavia
Brettish Isles
Craitland
Elwynn
Franklin Islands
Karalakh
Merenolitovina
Nordzibola
Safiria
Tellia
Wayne
New nations which claim land within the AEFA or WMFA "catchment" areas before the cut-off date for bidding will also be allowed to submit bids to host, should they so wish. Any nations which are removed from Micras before the deadline will not be permitted to bid.
Good luck to all bidding nations and let's all look forward to another fantastic FMF World Cup in 2015!

Leader: President Barnaby Hands
Government: Unicameral Presidential Republic
Number of Leagues: 3 fully professional divisions
Number of Teams in Premier Division: 8
Why do you think you deserve to host the world cup?: Senya is a country passionate about sport! Personally, I've ran the MFA since 2011, and Senya has been described as the "Brazil of micronations" before. We've also played 5 real life international matches, a record only beaten by Sealand.
Senya has experience in hosting tournament of this size before. In 2013, we hosted a very succesful Copa Apollonia, and for the past three summers, we have organised the Senyan School International Tournament, which have all been succesful ventures.
The Senyan national team is competitive, and will not be a team that will just make up the numbers. Our fourth place finish in the last World Cup proved that we are no longer pushovers, as we even knocked out former world champions Tellia en route to the semi-finals. Interest in international football is very high, and our fans have a reputation for being some of the most colourful around Micras. They will also be turning out in their thousands even when Senya aren't playing, ensuring that there will be no seat left empty come next summer!
Senya is a very hospitable country, and every effort will be made to ensure that foreign fans and players alike will be treated with the upmost respect. The vast majority of our citizens are polite, and will try to help you if you need assistance.
To say that Senya adores football is the understatement of all understatements, and quite frankly, I think in the grand scheme of things, can any nation rival us for football passion? For the World Cup to be held in Senya would be a fantastic thing for not just Senya, but for Micras too. To give the World Cup to a nation utterly bananas about football would ensure a quality tournament, full of colour and vibrance, as well as good football, takes place, and lives long in the memory.

Why do you think you deserve to host the world cup?:
Any Micrasian football fan will be able to tell you Craitland has won the most FMF World Cups; three more than any other team. The more observant of those fans will also be aware that Craitland has never hosted the tournament despite having appeared in every finals since it began. For a nation with such a strong affinity with the World Cup, it's surely overdue for Craitland to hold the biggest sporting event on Micras.
Craitland's sole time of hosting an international football event came in 2011, with EMU 11 being held across the Fifth Isle to great success. The twelve-team tournament, with six-team groups, allowed for the exhibition of the high-standard organisation, logistics and hospitality of our nation and its people.
Besides its famous football passion and successes, Craitland is well-respected throughout Micras and has a long-standing history of having never been involved in any international disputes or warfare. Our nation is well-known for having an egalitarian society, and our populace can guarantee a fair and welcoming visit for all foreign supporters attending the tournament. In addition to the stadiums in which matches will be played, visiting fans will benefit from subsidised travel around Craitland, with strategically-placed public broadcasting festivals for free viewing of televised games which will be attended by special guests such as members of our "Golden Generation".
Craitland itself can boast the oldest continuous football league on Micras, having been contested since 2003, which is home to some of the most widely supported teams around the globe and biggest names in football. Of our clubs' stadiums, nine are suitable for hosting the highest standard of intermicronational football, being all-seaters over 20,000 capacity. While other nations' stadiums may be larger, we like to say that the atmosphere our grounds produce is the epitome of our nation; friendly and high-spirited. The geographical position and size of the Craitish mainland, and the sites of our stadiums around the country, will create a true test for all national teams playing at the World Cup, with varying climates, weather and ecosystems affecting different regions of our islands.
In summary, combining the fact of this upcoming World Cup being the tenth edition, the expansion to twenty competing teams, the opportunity to host the matches in the nation whose team embodies everything the World Cup stands for, the promise of a peaceful and well-organised tournament, and the true test of those involved really does mean that a World Cup held in Craitland would be the perfect setting for such an important and special event.
Our new "Craitland is..." tourism marketing campaign is ready to go too, and we hope that in 2015, people will be saying:Spoiler!

If the city of Mahūti is chosen to host the World Cup, the Apollonian Republic will support the Senyan / Riverorian government in making it one big festivity.

Re: Bidding for the 2015 FMF World Cup
The Executives have voted and a majority has been reached. With only two eligible Executives left to vote, and with three votes in favour, meaning a tie is not possible, Craitland have been granted the hosting rights to the 2015 FMF World Cup!
We would like to extend our commiserations to Senya, whose bid was excellent, but the prevailing opinion among the voting Executives was that the already existing rotation policy should be continued for this edition. We invite Senya to bid again for the next edition of the tournament, where AEFA and CTFA nations will be eligible (with AEFA having the priority).
Congratulations, Craitland, the World Cup is coming to the country that looked after it for four years!

Re: Bidding for the 2015 FMF World Cup
I would like to extend my gratitude to the other FMF Executives for their faith in the Craitish bid, and extend my thanks to Senya for their graciousness in being unsuccessful with their bid. As a nation, Craitland would love to see a Senyan-hosted World Cup in the near future!
