Riponia 2-0 Craitland
On the first day of the FMF Youth Championships, Craitland have stumbled on a rather humid sunny day in Koyerno. At 32 degrees celsius, the humidity was high and players were sweating before they came on.
Riponia's Daniël Lavan made the first impression after swinging a cross into Theo Sinclair which alerted Kraig Johansen to come out and save. Riponia were brighter in the first 10 minutes but the rest of the first half was dominated by Craitland. HóC's Alan Oesst-Sdaa came close to scoring just after taking past Benjamin Cotts and Ricardo Smith but couldn't keep the shot on target just placing the ball over the bar. Craitish/Riponian player Daniel Hjansen who represents his fatherland Craitland came close to scoring after heading a ball from a corner to the far post only to be cleared by outbound PRR team-mate Stephen Traoré.
But after the second half, it was Riponia who broke the deadlock after a mistake from Hänä Zensen, giving away the ball needlessly to Theodore Sinclair who took past 3 players before skinning the goalkeeper Johansen and placing it into the back of the net.
Craitland started becoming sloppy giving away 5 fouls in 15 minutes with 2 bookings being the outcome. Not just that on the 72nd minute Benjamin Cotts brought Tór Fredriksen down in the 18 yard box and gave Craitland a penalty. However, Alan Oesst-Sdaa wasted it as Nicolas Harfield catches it cleanly. The HóC EMUFA Cup penalty kick hero was silenced by a alert Riponian goalkeeper. This proved costly as Daniël Lavan broke free and continued before scoring a 32 yard goal after spotting the keeper was off his line.
Final Score - RIP 2-0 CRA

Greenuk 1-4 Taesong
After a fine display from Riponia, Taesong join them after coming back to win 4-1. After a terrible start from the EMUFA #1, Taesong had to rescue the game after captain Lee Young-Hoon scoring an own goal who attempted to clear the ball from a inswinging corner which hit the post and went past the line.
Greenuk could have put themselves two up after Park Il-Sung losing balance losing the ball with Richard Anderson trying a shot from outside the area only to be ruined by a fantastic last ditch sliding challenge by 17 year old Lee Nook-San.
Taesong equaled just before half time with a half volley from Lee Ki-Cheol after a low cross from Park Il-Sung. Embarassment over but Taesong wanted more than a draw. With Lee Young-Hoon leading the side out for the second half, a 50 minute 29 yard shot put the Micrasian Tigers ahead and also cancelled out Young-Hoon's early own goal.
The next goal came 5 minutes later with Kazuki Ahn brought down by Jack Bentley who was booked. Lee Ki-Cheol stepped up to take the spot-kick but hit the post, nevertheless scored from the rebound.
And disaster came after another after Jack Bentley hacking out Park In-Hwan which got very nasty as Jack Bentley was sent to the dressing rooms for an early bath on the 87th minute. A complete mistake from Macull meant a inswinging free kick was headed in by Lee Yang-Chul from the far-post, with no-one to save it.

I didn't see that from Joris, how late is he on this subject we sorted that out ages agokingcairney wrote:we still have a national team (dont we?)Swamp Candle wrote:slight problem here Hieu, Greenuk has got rid of there league, so is it really a good idea to enter them? when they don't have a league anymore?
but just not a national league.
of course you have a national team (and are one of the few who have a U21 team too) - most of the nations on here don't have national league but have teams...
but the thing was that none of the players in the U21 WC were allowed to be unattached, and as your league broke down, then some of the players would be unattached...
Kataria 1-1 Passas
The game was overshadowed by the reign of a new leader - Emperor Sago II. However the Emperor insisted that the show must go on and he himself attended the match in the VIP boxes.
The game kicked off well for Kataria, dominating 79%-21% on possesion in the first 20 minutes although the game was mainly bogged down in midfield being unable to pass the Passasean defence. Tesuji Tsunami was a major impact in the first half and made the most passes in the first half and second most tackles. This was shown on the 37th minute when Kataria went one up after a delightful chip from Tsunami towards Norio Takugi who half volleyed it into the back of the net. Tom Henry just watched the ball past into the net.
But it was a complete change in the second half, LuÃÂs Alves had a harsh decision against him after bringing down Yuji Kamamoto although footage displayed after showed that Kamamoto lost balanced and slip and Alves not taking a touch on the 21 year old winger. The switch from an attempt to counter-attack to a wing play worked immediately but Sherman lacked support from Southcity Rangers player Will Zóma, deciding it was the best to sub him off on the 60th minute to bring on rising star Interland born striker Lukasz Dabrowski, who linked up with Sherman brilliantly.
Dabrowski's little one-two passes Sherman and dribbling wonders caused the defenders huge problems. Sherman's pace sometimes let him down overrunning the ball with control however it should have been 1-1 in the 82nd minute when Dabrowski linked up with Wolfgang Washington who crossed it into the box which was brought down by Sherman and slided it past the keeper however the referee called for the infamous offside decision.
But that later came amended when Danijel Dordevic picked up the ball after a breakdown of communication between Tori Yamamudo and Yosutaro Seiwo. Dordevic took it past Satoshi Ihara before playing it low across to Dabrowski who smashed it into the top corner.
