Supporter information for the FMF World Cup
Now that all 20 qualifiers for the FMF World Cup, some tickets are now on sale. For a list of when tickets go on sale:
"Follow Your Country" tickets - on sale now
Local tickets - Following draw competion
Remaining tickets - Following sale of local tickets.
There will be three types of tickets available for fans to buy:
"Follow Your Country" tickets - 15,000 of these tickets will be given to each FA of the 20 qualified teams. These tickets will garuntee entry for 15,000 fans to every game that nation plays, including group, knock-out fixtures, and the final. These tickets will be centred behind one end of the stadium, with the exception of fixtures against Senya at the Snakepit, where they will be centred on the usual away end. To qualify for these tickets, fans must be either a citizen or permanent resident of the country they intend to support. These tickets include two flights, one to and one from the country of origin to Senya, hotels in Senya, travel in Senya and tickets to all games that country will have in the competition. These tickets will be priced at Cr 800. National FAs are allowed to decide whether these tickets will be sold on either a first-come-first-served basis or in a lottery.
Local tickets - These tickets will be available only to Senyan nationals or permanent residents, and will be on sale once the group stage draw is completed, and this initial sale will include group stage, knock-out and the final match(es). A total of 50% of the remaining tickets once the "Following Your Country" allocations have been removed will be on sale. So, for example, in the Snakepit, 42,500 local tickets will be available, where as in the Scitenhima Stad-Svorgas, 6,250 of these tickets will be available. Fans have until a week before the tournament to purchase these tickets. These tickets will be priced at Cr 15. These tickets will be sold on a first-come-first-served-basis.
Remaining tickets - All remaining tickets for games after the sale of local tickets and Follow Your Country tickets have been sold will go on general sale to everyone, regardless of nationality. Tickets for Group Stage games in this category will be sold on completion of the Local Tickets draw, whilst knock-out fixture tickets and tickets for the final will be available for sale once the teams in those games are made known. Tickets in this category will cost Cr 20, but will be competitive to get. The tickets will be sold on a first-come-first served-basis.
Note: Senyan football stadiums routinely seperate supporters of different national teams as a matter of safety. After buying either a local ticket or a remaining ticket, you will be asked which nation you intend on supporting, with the options of both teams and a neutral option being available. Be honest when selecting this, as your seat will be moved closer to the "Follow Your Country" ticket holders for this fixture. Whilst cheering for anyone will be tolerated from "neutrals", if you cheer for, are wearing colours/scarves/banners of the team that your are not put down as supporting, you will be ejected from the stadium and will not be entitled to a refund.
