The newly-formed Buthminster Athletic, based in the Duchy of Buthnock in Victoria, have registered to participate in the Victorian Premiership.

Ex-Craitland striking legend Alexis Tereminus has been revealed as the club's manager, giving him his first full-time managerial appointment after leaving his coaching role at old club Cherry Trees.

The club has managed to sign a number of established free agents for their début season. Victorian national team captain, and ex-New Brittania star winger, Daniel Perry is the team's "marquee" signing. Goalkeeper Chris Patel, defenders Caspar Dawson and Chris Valentine, midfielders Mark Attfield and Greg Glenning, and forward Lucas Yballa - all of which were called-up for Victoria's first international against Novatainia - have also all joined the fledgeling team.

Nova English winger Theodore Sinclair, who was once touted as Riponia's "next big thing" before their demise, has been brought into the team, as has left-back Lee Nam-Hwan. The Nova English Korean defender still holds the transfer fee record after his ridiculous Cr 60 million move between Passas' Kingsland Mavericks and Kavalos' New Luanda in 2007. Shirerithian midfielder Legus, Craitish strikers Will Zóma and Lydveldt Mortensen, and young Passasian 'keeper Richard de Vos have all joined "The Bells" as well.

The remaining players in the team have been picked-up from local teams which play in Buthnock's amateur divisions.

Just so everyone knows, team registration is only open for the next two weeks. So if you wish to register a team to play in the newest professional league on Micras, you don't have long to do it! :D
