League 1 Transfer Listed Players
The following players have been transfer listed by their clubs. Still under contract, they will remain at their current clubs if no suitable buyers are found, but will be allowed to leave at a cut-down price at their clubs' discretion.
Jim Dehbo
Left-back, Cherry Trees
Has represented the Craitish national team on 27 occasions, including a number of FMF World Cup games. Currently out-of-favour in the side to Nova English Korean Lee Hong-Jo. At 31 years of age, he still has a good couple of years left in him. You're unlikely to find a more experienced defender on the market.
Steve Stevenson
Striker, Cherry Trees
Won the very first FMF World Cup with Beaugium. One of the more consistent strikers in Micrasian football, scoring five league goals for Cherry Trees this past season. Coming into the twilight of his career, though, at 32, but would still be a very good signing for more newly-established teams.
Thierry Hjansen
Centre-back, Hänävissen-ó-Cräiteland
Established defender, but never won a Craitish cap. Has fallen down the pecking order at his hometown club, but previously had an excellent partnership with Dave Pellegrino (see below), and is willing to find a new challenge as HóC look to rebuild after a relatively-disappointing season. At 32, not the youngest player, but wouldn't mind slotting into the plans of a team abroad.
Dave Pellegrino
Centre-back, Hänävissen-ó-Cräiteland
Another uncapped Craitish defender. Formed one of the best defensive partnerships with Thierry Hjansen (see above) for HóC, but has since been used less and less in the team's plans as they look to rebuild. The same age as Hjansen, 32, but could be included well in a foreign team's set-up. HóC may even consider letting the pair go together for a reduced fee if the right bidding comes along.
Phil Demb
Right-back, Osĵätoņ Aztecs
Starting FMF World Cup right-back for Craitland in 2006 and 2007. Very good player for both club and country. Originally thought to be a one-club man, he requested to be transfer listed himself after nine consecutive seasons as the club's first-choice right-back. Still going strong and expected to at least be included in this year's provisional Craitish World Cup squad, even at 32 years-old.
Quryaqos Kheldumeh
Striker, Osĵätoņ Aztecs
Former Matbaic World Cup forward, now representing Mahoz HaSephardim like most of his original compatriots. A burly target man who had a much more successful spell at the Ripon Magnets before Riponia's untimely demise, but since his move to Craitland has found appearances hard to come by. Now sixth in the pecking order, the 30 year-old is hopeful of moving to a high profile club whilehe still feels he has a good few years of playing left.
Turk ronAjain
Goalkeeper, Osĵätoņ Aztecs
Internationally renowned 'keeper, having appeared in every one of his country FMF World Cup matches. A revelation in the Riponian Premier League for Port Rackham Rangers before the league's liquidation, but has been used sparingly in Craitland due to Jack Vorgensen being the Aztecs' number one. Now 39 years of age, his preferred move would be either back home or to Shireroth's Pro-Soccer League were his son plays for JHI-LK, also as a 'keeper.
Giorgio Menti
Striker, Róndlinga Diamonds
Previous Tellian regular before his move to the Diamonds from Taesong's Seongchen FC, where he was the star player. Not the most prolific of forwards, with only one league goal this term, but is proven internationally against stiff competition. With Craitish starlet Lydveldt Jonmikeltsen being the Diamonds' biggest asset, Menti, 31, rarely gets a look in in the league, but could be more successful at a team which needs increased attacking options.
In addition to the aforementioned transfer listed players, Craitish clubs are open to worthwhile bids for the majority of players - although if the club considers them an integral part of the team, they're not likely to sell! - and most players under the age of 21 are likely to be allowed out on loan for the season to gain experience, or even with an option to buy!
