Rangers sign 14-year-old in order to play
With only 6 of their players able to play in tomorrow's match against Svorgas Knights, Dyas Rangers have hastily signed an unknown 14-year-old named Mark Densin to boost their eligible squad upto 7 for tomorrow's fixture, which is the minimum amount of players to start a fixture. For the following two games after (home v ECH and away against rivals Park Prinsipa), there will only be 8 players available, as Jon Korps will come back into the team.

Does this mean that the 29-0 might be beaten?
Re: 2013 Senyan transfers
They're not the River Warriors - though it might be the first time in Micrasian football that a team has started the game in a 2-2-2 formationjoefoxon wrote:Does this mean that the 29-0 might be beaten?

Deduction of points for failing to field a full team?
Re: 2013 Senyan transfers
As a fellow referee you should know that teams can start a game with a minimum of 7 players Just so long as no-one gets injured or sent-off they will be finejoefoxon wrote:Deduction of points for failing to field a full team?

It's not a law, it's a competition rule

(note, once gave 3 penalties in the first 5 minutes of a Y9 game I was refereeing once, one of which was after just 5 seconds)

I once sent my teacher off during a men's league game, and had a horse run onto the pitch twice in a junior game

Hornik switches to Senyan league for "new challenge"
Interland-born Adam Hornik has signed for Dyas Scitenhima Ĵets, who have had to pay 1,000,000 craites to secure the services of the midfielder.
Hornik joins DSĴ from Kaikias-Overseas outfit MKF Montauk, who have came off of the back of a successful season which saw them finish third in the league and thus qualify for this season's AEFA Champions' League. However Hornik said that whilst it was tempting to stay for the Champions' League endeavour, he wanted a change of scenery.
"I loved my time at MKF, but I think it's time to move on. I would have liked to play Champions' League football, but ultimately my goal is to play as higher level as possible and MKF can't offer me that at a domestic level. Hopefully here in Senya I'll be playing at a much better level week-in-week-out, rather than the occasional continental tie. I wish Montauk all the best in the Champions' League, but my goal will be to get the Ĵets there too."
The move comes 6 days before the Top League is due to kick-off, with the Reds set to start against Politzëa at home.

Last season's top scorer Jack Smith transfer listed
Last season's Top League top goalscorer Jack Smith has been put on the transfer list by FK Tiga. After a turbulent summer in which he rejected an international call-up by Senya, it appears that the 17-year-old wants to move away from Senya for a while. He will be moving with his parents, and says that he won't accept a bid from anyone with thinking it through first with them. So far, rumours have came in of offers from Amokolia, Tiana and Juclandia, but FK Tiga say that they will not publicly disclose which teams have made a bid. It is rumoured that the club is looking for at least Cr 5 million for Smith, plus a new player in return.

Wow, if he's worth 9 million then 10m for Joe Foxon is a serious underestimate...
