That's because you only asked about defenders, and Bach's a striker

Craitman wrote:Biulya äqi Jedu have today gone on record to state their aim of signing Passasian-based Hurmudan forward Aki Mäenpää for the 2014 season.
The team has announced, following last season's impressive display in League 1, that they are targeting a top-two finish next year, and the signing of the 28 year-old. Following his displays in Hurmu's 2007 World Cup campaign, Mäenpää was linked to BäJ and fellow-League 1 team Sverige Tiem, but settled on a move to Passas' United Republic that year. Since then, the RNSL has disbanded, with the team being renamed to Zidado West United and included in Hamland's league system from 2011. With ZWU having failed to win promotion to the Premier League in the past three seasons, Mäenpää is thought to be looking for a move to fulfil his wish of top division football, with League 1 a suspected candidate.
Should the striker link-up with BäJ, it is expected to come at a cost, with ZWU hoping to hold-on to him until after this summer's World Cup, where he will be one of his nation's most important players. BäJ are expected to want to meet the team's demands, however, with Tellian Gianluca Salmoiraghi and adopted Crait Lucas Zaya ready to partner him up-front, and fellow Hurmu international Ketil av Silmahamnum in defence.
In addition to their interest in Mäenpää, BäJ have been rumoured as the team behind the recent Cr 3 million bid for Gerenian international Zelmar Toscano which was reportedly accepted by Isherwood CSSC yesterday. Should this move come to fruition, Toscano would give the team further strength in depth with their squad, with his young age being a positive factor in regards to BäJ's future. More on this story is expected to develop over the coming days.

Craitman wrote:Biulya äqi Jedu have today unveiled their first signing of the summer; Gerenian starlet Zelmar Toscano.
The 21 year-old, whose move was speculated two days ago after Isherwood CSSC accepted a bid for the midfielder, completed his Cr 3 million move last night. Toscano, who impressed in Gerenia's recent friendly victory over Craitland, is one of his nation's brightest prospects and is expected to feature heavily in the Copa Apollonia this year. The "trequartista" youngster comes to BäJ with high pedigree, having won both the Gerenian League 1 and National Cup last season, scoring eleven goals in total.
Toscano has been given the team's 15 shirt, last worn by retiree Mike Edsen. This decision has fuelled rumours in the back pages, with the 8 jersey - as traditionally worn by transfer target Aki Mäenpää - still remaining vacant at the club.

Vecchiacittà have completed their first signing of the window with Tellian right back Valérien Hertz. Hertz, who was part of the World Cup winning squad of 2012, has played his trade in Craitland with League 1 side Xäiville Teflons, but will be making a return to Tellia having stayed 3 seasons at the Craitish side.
With the departure of Fjalar Stefánsson to North Antartica, Hertz joins the club for a fee of Cr 10 million as the Teflons make another profit on another player they signed. The Tellian right back is expected to be a first choice starter in the squad and is expected to reunite with former boss Luigi Matri, as well as former LVG and Teflons team-mate Kristian Jentzsch.
The 25 year old will take the number 2 shirt vacated by the outgoing Stefánsson, wearing the same number that he usually wears for the national team.

Craitman wrote:Osĵätoņ Aztecs have dipped their hand into the transfer kitty for the first time this summer with the signing of midfielder Vän Vanisen from Róndlinga Diamonds.
The 27 year-old, for a long time considered the Diamonds' prize possession, has joined the league champions for a fee of Cr 8 million. Regarded by many in Craitland and a long-term successor to national team legend Yaqin Senovichi, Vanisen has seen his international opportunities limited due to the Diamonds' poor performances over the past few seasons, coupled with the standards of other players in the same position. Having gained his first cap in a friendly in June, the midfielder was not chosen to join the final EMU squad in Interland. However, he is generally valued at more than Cr 8 million, and his transfer can be seen as a knock-down as the Diamonds look to offload their star players as a means of rejuvenating their team, with Lydveldt Jonmikeltsen expected to also leave this window.
Vanisen will occupy the club's number eight jersey, previously worn by now-retired forward Paul Óma-ó-Täó, and is thought to be aiming to cement a place in the Aztecs' starting line-up from next season.

Craitman wrote:Xäiville Teflons have set their sights for this summer's transfer window as they look to replace influential losses before next season begins.
With a notable Tellian lilt to their squad over the past few years, the Teflons are thought to be interested in further purchases from Serie A over the next two months. Following Valérien Hertz's departure last month, Elario Campisano and Frederico Diamo are the club's current Tellian players. However, with captain Jón F'achh retiring, the team is expected to make bids for both Romero defender Marco Schiavvi and Ocula centre-mid Júlio Romána to help strengthen their ever-improving results into 2014.
Although the Teflons have not yet released an official statement on their transfer aspirations, a deal for Schiavvi has been predicted since the start of the summer, while Romána is looking for a way out of relegated Ocula's side and is thought to be aiming to play a part in one of the more established leagues on Micras.

Sverige Tiem today announces the transfer of Mercurian national team defender Stephen Charlton from Tow Law FC to Sverige Tiem. The transfer will go through after the WC, before the window closes. The transfer fee is rumored to be in the region of Cr 5 million.

Craitman wrote:Sverige Tiem have filled the spaces left in their squad following this summer's retirements of legends Lydveldt Hjansen and Vorgeņ Zyxveldtsen; bringing-in international experience and a young Crait in the process.
The biggest news is that Mercurian centre-back Stephen Charlton has signed for the team in a Cr 5 million deal; a move which sees him become the first Mercury player to join a Craitish team on a permanent basis, following Stephen Rydberg's loan move at BäJ last season. Charlton, one half of Mercury's highly-rated international starting central defence alongside Chris Deacon, joins from his hometown side Tow Law FC, and the 26 year-old takes the club's number four jersey. Charlton will join-up with the team after the completion of the 2013 World Cup.
In addition to Charlton's arrival, the team has also promoted youth prospect Läns Däl. The 19 year-old's hard work in the CÓNECT academy has earned him a move to the 2012 champions, where he is expected to grow further as a centre-back behind proven talents. The youngster has taken the 15 shirt, with its previous occupier Ross Zen taking the vacant number five; a move which indicates his expected increase in playing time this coming campaign.
Lastly, Sanillan forward Mariolino Sonetti has been registered as Sverige's number 17 for next season. After a successful season on loan to Eĵars Town, Sonetti will evidently now be given a chance to impress at his parent club after signing in 2012 from Mortis Mercatoria in a combined deal with Shirerithians Nuno Santos Gomez and Kurt Lamberti.
These updates to Sverige's team now leaves them with a completed 25-man squad, with insiders expecting there to be no further transfer action for the club this summer.

The Hurmudan striker has been publicly admired by the club this summer, and the offer to the 28 year-old's current club, Zidado West United, is thought to be around the Cr 8 million mark. However, Hammish side Kilbay Rangers are also thought to be interested in the forward, seeing him as a possible replacement for the retired Ian Esztain alongside other rumoured players based in Alexandria and Tellia. In what is swiftly becoming the most notable transfer saga of the summer, BäJ's confirmed bid will certainly look to begin the ball rolling one way or another.

Re: 2013 Craitish transfers
Craitman wrote:Xäiville Teflons have announced the signings of three players today, for a combined total fee of Cr 22 million. The Teflons, who are openly aiming for a spot in the top three next season, have signalled their intentions after only releasing four players so far this summer.
The most notable of the Teflons' signings is that of the return of Passasian striker Łukasz Dąbrowski. The 23 year-old, who spent two seasons with the club between 2008 and 2010, is still revered by the fans, who will warmly welcome him back after a torrid spell at Cherry Trees. Despite winning a number of titles with Cherry Trees, Dąbrowski was often left-out of the team, due to rotational policies with Zen Daviddlaw, and his form suffered, with last season's 11 goals being his best annual tally. The forward, who was controversially left-out of Passas' EMU 13 squad, will be looking to restore the quality he was highly rated for as a youngster and reach his potential at a club he is guaranteed to be a key influence. The youngster's move has cost the Teflons Cr 10 million, and the team's number 20 jersey will be worn by him for the up-coming campaign.
In addition to Dąbrowski, Xäiville have also managed to pull-off two other coups for talented players. In a move which is designed to shore-up their traditionally weak defence, Tellian centre-back Marco Schiavvi has switched from Romero Sport. The 29 year-old is a Tellian legend, having played in every World Cup the team has appeared in, winning in 2012, and has surprised a number of critics with a move to a less successful club. Seemingly deemed surplus to requirements at his home club, the strong defender has been allowed to move to League 1 for Cr 7 million. Although he wears the 5 shirt for Tellia, he will take the number 6 for the Teflons, as recently vacated by Dhi F'aĵmek.
Lastly, Schiavvi's fellow Tellian international Júlio Romána has agreed terms with the Teflons as well. The 26 year-old, whose usual position is central midfield, has joined from Ocula ASC for a knock-down Cr 5 million. The former-Vecchiacittà man has been allowed to leave Ocula following the club's relegation to Serie B last season. Having been included in two World Cup squads before, Romána's addition will add further experience to an ever-improving squad. The Tellian has bravely asked to take the Teflons' 8 shirt, which was previously worn by club captain Jón F'achh prior to his retirement this summer.
This trio of captures for the Teflons has left the club with only one required place left to fill in their squad now, with rumours leaning towards an unexpected bid for Cherry Trees right-back Marc Hjansen on the cards, although this has been neither confirmed nor denied by either team yet.

Craitman wrote:Róndlinga Diamonds' arrowhead Lydveldt Jonmikeltsen has completed his long-predicted move to giants Cherry Trees, leaving the strugglers with only 19 recognised first-team players a matter of days before the transfer deadline.
The striker's move comes in light of Cherry Trees' sale of Łukasz Dąbrowski back to Xäiville Teflons, and the lofty 23 year-old's transfer has garnered some similarities among journalists. Jonmikeltsen will be hoping to fare better than the Passasian, however, with the possibility of linking-up with fellow Craits Freddie Gaärsen and Zen Daviddlaw being a mouth-watering prospect for national team manager Zyx Dermäna. Jonmikeltsen's move has been announced as Cr 9 million, being effectively paid for by Dąbrowski's fee, and he is expected to take the team's 9 shirt, but Cherry Trees have yet to confirm their squad numbers for 2014.

Craitman wrote:Last season's Senyan Top League highest scorer Jack Smith has been unveiled by Eĵars Town today, as the youngster looks to rebuild his reputation.
The highly-rated 17 year-old has joined Eĵars' youthful squad in a deal that totals Cr 3 million to his previous club, FK Tiga. Despite his age, Smith scored an outstanding 27 goals in the league last season as FK Tiga finished second, claiming the golden boot, but he has since been the subject of a number of disputes with both the club and the Senyan FA; a factor the forward appears keen to remedy with his move to Craitland.
Although Senyan-born, Smith's parents are both from the now-defunct Walker Democracy, and he stated his desires to play for the national team in this year's World Cup qualifiers; which he did as they finished fourth in their group. However, with the Walker Democracy now demised, Smith has become eligible to represent the land of his birth again, but has vehemently declined a couple of offers of call-ups to play for Senya. This has caused a rift between the youngster and the Senyan FA, which has been exacerbated by his recent controversial incidents in club matches, where he has received multiple red cards already this season. Smith's behaviour has led to FK Tiga reluctantly accepting Eĵars' offer, which is below many experts' valuations for the striker, as the Craitish club has aimed to replace Mariolino Sonetti, who was on loan from Sverige Tiem last season.
The move does not come without confusion either, with fellow League 1 side Zekäbelóman Kahthajtensen having claimed they reached an agreement with FK Tiga for Smith before being turned-down with no explanation. As controversial as this move is, Eĵars will be hoping to tap into Smith's evident potential as a part of a developing squad, and to help the 17 year-old grow into a model professional.
In addition to Jack Smith's transfer, Eĵars have also announced the addition of another young forward to their ranks this summer. Crait Erlaņ Darcq, also 17, has agreed terms to a professional contract with the side, and will fight for a place alongside Smith and the club's other forwards. Darcq will wear Mariolino Sonetti's former 18 shirt, while Smith takes the number 14.

Craitman wrote:Zekäbelóman Kahthajtensen goalkeeper Peter Marcqist has completed a surprise move to League 1 giants Cherry Trees, the club has confirmed.
The 29 year-old, who joined ZK when they were founded in 2003, was a major part of the team's plans up until their 2012 promotion season. Since then, Passasian Richard De Vos and Ocia/Interland's Rok Celcer have shared responsibilities in net. In contrast, Cherry Trees' first choice for the last few seasons, Roberto Flavienchini, left the club this summer, with youth product Kraig Johansen next in line. Behind Johansen, however, is only Jon Jónsen - who has a notable lack of first-team football throughout this career. As a result, manager Francisco Gutiérrez earmarked Marcqist as an experienced, albeit unsuspecting, option to add to his side.
Marcqist's transfer is reported as costing Cherry Trees Cr 1.5 million, and he has been confirmed in the number one jersey for the 2014 season, even though he is more than likely to be third-choice in practice.
Craitman wrote:Following the signing of Peter Marcqist, Cherry Trees have handed their three other summer signings squad numbers for the 2014 campaign. Former-Diamonds forward Lydveldt Jonmikeltsen has been given the coveted number nine, as previously worn by both Alexis Tereminus and Łukasz Dąbrowski, with fellow striker Sfeir Kheldumeh taking the 16 shirt. In addition, youth graduate İlker Keremov will wear the 22, which was last used by ex-captain Paul Pellegrino last season.
With winger Markko Christiansen on loan at Les Verts Gaianiano, he has vacated the club's 25, leaving that number and the twelve jersey currently vacant at the team.

Re: 2013 Craitish transfers
Craitman wrote:Young winger Morteņ Herä has been signed by Róndlinga Diamonds from Cherry Trees as they look to rebuild their squad.
The 22 year-old has failed to make any impact on the Cherry Trees first team after being signed as a youth player in 2011, being sent-out on loan in Tellia last season, and was told he no longer had a place at the club after returning earlier in the summer. The Diamonds, very much in transition, have lost seven players this transfer window, including star men Lydveldt Jonmikeltsen and Vän Vanisen, as they aim to focus on an injection of youth over the next few years. Herä's signing will seemingly see the winger be first-choice on the right for the Diamonds this year.
Herä stated that he "[has] the utmost respect for Cherry Trees, and [thanks] them for the opportunities over the past two seasons". In regards to his move, which has been recorded as totalling Cr 2 million, the youngster added; "Róndlinga is my home now and I have a real faith that we will be able to construct a competitive team here. We know we can't expect miracles immediately, but the long-term plans here were what swayed my decision to join the Diamonds, and I'm certain Cherry Trees will be looking over their shoulder at us sooner than they think".
Unusually for a right-winger, Herä has chosen to wear the Diamonds' six shirt, with a bit of reassignment seeing forward Horatio Gonzáles-Hernán move to number seven from 22, fellow striker Andrew Lee take the ten after being 23, Jon Iņäki be given the 13 after returning from two years' loan in Hamland, and right-back Nicky Paulsen leave the 25 to adopt number two; a certain indication he will be the team's first choice this year. This now leaves the team with twenty of their required 25 players registered for 2014.
