Craitman wrote:The following League 1 players have called time on their playing careers this summer:

Biulya äqi Jedu
Manta Pellegrino - Now aged 35, the legend of Craitish football is retiring off the back of his very first league title last season. He was Craitland's captain up until his international retirement last year, and lifted the World Cup trophy all four times that the nation won it. Tallied a total of 101 caps, with 11 goals, for Craitland since his first cap back in 2006.
Giovanni Pedersen - The 38 year-old goalkeeper has ended his 13-season affiliated with his hometown club, with some younger talent expected to fill his place and challenge for the club's number one.
François Yohannes - The Taesong-born Nova English Korean centre-back is no longer a regular player, and has hung-up his boots aged 34.

Cherry Trees
Toby Vorgensen - The central midfielder, 34, was a fixture in both Cherry Trees' and Craitland's line-ups during their most successful periods. He has fallen out of favour at club level as Cherry Trees look to remodel their squad once more.

Eĵars Town
Jon Marcsen - Superseded by prospect Francis Hjansen last year, the 36 year-old kept goal during the club's history-making seasons and promotion.

Hänävissen-ó-Cräiteland
Juliaĵ Chentzansio - A one-cap wonder who still made two World Cup-winning Craitland squads. The 33 year-old defensive midfielder calls an end at the same time as other members of HóC's "core".
Markko Edmildón - As it stands, Craitland's twelfth most capped player. Starting left-winger for three World Cup triumphs and his 74 caps make him the most experienced international player in the club's history. Now 33 and deciding it's best he retired.
Freddie Demo - The 34 year-old gained four international caps and appeared in one World Cup squad; featuring in the 2008 final win as a substitute.
Hanast Pellegrino - Craitland's second highest scorer with 31 goals and a mountain of a man who has captained HóC since their foundation. Having now turned 35, he has chosen to leave the sport alongside a number of long-term friends.
Phil Senovichi - 37 year-old 'keeper who has never had any qualms about playing back-up to more recognised stoppers at his club.

Kealb
Timo Bierrelaš - Goalkeeper whose biggest claim to fame is the sheer amount of nations he has been eligible to represent. Now 37, he was a squad member in the Nordic Union's only World Cup showing.

Osĵätoņ Aztecs
Paulio Demhivo - A second-highest 114 caps for the man who spent years at the heart of the Craitish defence and won pretty much everything going. The 35 year-old was the Aztecs' captain and even deputised for Manta at international level in more recent years.
Tommy Hjansen - Featured in four Craitish World Cup squads and scored 15 goals in 32 appearances. At 33, he has played notably less at club level the past few seasons, but remained a goal threat throughout his entire career.
Yaqin Senovichi - One of only six Craits to have yet reached a century of caps, and added 13 goals on his way to being the first to reach the 100 milestone. Arguably Craitland's most gifted player, with seven World Cups played in and a Golden Ball awarded to him in 2010.
Vaja Neil - The 36 year-old Matbaa-born midfielder joined the Aztecs in 2007 from Tokidoki's Rillanon Reflex after an initial loan spell. Played in three World Cups for two different nations.

Róndlinga Diamonds
James Reilly - Initially a Jamzinian, the 34 year-old defender's only international tournament experience came last year for Victoria in the Copa Apollonia.
Jón K'eĵer - Left-winger who has been through thick and thin with the Diamonds throughout the years; retires aged 34.

Xäiville Teflons
Alex Kiker - Nova English striker who originally represented Riponia. The 34 year-old appeared in seven World Cups and moved to the Teflons in 2008.

Zekäbelóman Kahthajtensen
Daniel Perry - New Brittanian-born journeyman who is now 35. Was impressive in the first ever World Cup and linked-up with ZK in 2012.

Craitman wrote:New Cherry Trees manager Alexis Tereminus has wasted no time in influencing the club's squad after sealing a loan deal for Passasian striker Phillip Sherman.

Sherman, 29, played an influential part in Passas' run to a third place in this summer's World Cup; scoring three goals from the bench. The decision to bring Sherman in represents a bond between manager and player, as Sherman previously spent a season on loan at Oesst Whiteside in 2007 as part of a swap which saw Freddie Gaärsen play for Kingsland Mavericks in the old RNSL for a season. During his stint in Craitland, Sherman and Tereminus were Cherry Trees' striking partnership which hit 14 goals between them to bring the title back to the club for a third time. Eight years on, and Tereminus clearly has faith in his former-sidekick's abilities.

Sherman's arrival, however, has only fuelled rumours that Zen Daviddlaw and Sfeir Kheldumeh may be forced to find a way out of the club this summer. Kheldumeh's nine goals last season make it likely he would only be permitted to leave on loan, but Zen Daviddlaw has fallen down the side's pecking order and is thought to want to restart his career elsewhere while still in his "prime" age.

Craitman wrote:Three League 1 clubs have announced the signings of players from Talenore's Super League as they look to fill gaps made in their squads by retirements.

In a double-swoop, Osĵätoņ Aztecs have used their financial weight to bring in two World Cup stars for a combined Cr 14 million. Midfielder Mahmud Abax, 28, has joined for Cr 6 million from TSL runners-up Citizen FC. The attack-minded play-maker featured in all five of Talenore's matches at the World Cup in Craitland this summer as the side reached the quarter-finals in their début appearance.
In addition, Talenorean "golden boy" Kali Kalani has also swapped the island nation for Craitland's south coast, after sealing a Cr 8 million move from Shujima Talnûr'i KP. The 22 year-old helped his club side to a third place finish last season, and was the league's top goal provider before impressing at the World Cup with two goals in an isolated sole striker position; something which is unlikely to be repeated at the Aztecs with Jan-Morteņ Juliaĵsen the most likely partner up top.
In a change of squad numbers, Jean-Pierre d'Oliviera has dropped from #22 to #4, with Jan-Morteņ Juliaĵsen becoming the team's new #10 after being #16 before. Newcomers Abax and Kalani have been assigned the #16 and #19 jerseys, respectively.

Last year's bottom-placed club Hänävissen-ó-Cräiteland have begun their rebuilding process as they try to replace five key players for the upcoming campaign. The side's first foray into the transfer market has seen them bring-in Avraham Vintarglimion for Cr 4 million. An attacking midfielder by trade, Vintarglimion had an unprecedented season in the TSL last year as he ended its top scorer with eight goals for Auraa FC. While seemingly a late bloomer, the 29 year-old was a force to be reckoned with this summer and impressed many with his showings in Talenore's difficult group games.
HóC must believe in him as he has been handed the club's #10 shirt, whilst other number changes include Jeroen van Veen (#24 to #9), Ezequiel Leston (#22 to #8) and Patrice Dermäna (#14 to #6).

The final club to take advantage of Talenore's transfer list has been Eĵars Town. Known for their promotion of young, Craitish players, they have acquired Freddie Pellegrino from Traktor Talenore. The goalkeeper, 19, who shares his name with Sverige Tiem's manager but is no relation, joined the TSL after leaving the CÓNECT academy and kept six clean sheets in 14 matches as his side finished fourth. Francis Hjansen, who is also 19, is expected to be Eĵars' first choice stopper this season, but Pellegrino will certainly keep him on his toes as he fights for a starting position.
Hjansen has moved from the #24 shirt to the #1 for this season, but Pellegrino has yet to be allocated a number, with some pundits expecting that to signal more outgoings at the club this summer.

EDIT: Freddie Pellegrino has since been registered with Eĵars Town's #24.

Craitman wrote:With only a few days remaining of this summer's transfer window, Cherry Trees have seemingly set the course for late business after agreeing a deal to sell young prospect Markko Christiansen. The left-midfielder, 22, has moved abroad to Gerenia's KPSK Isherwood for an initial fee of Cr 5.2 million. The youngster spent last season on loan at Biulya äqi Jedu, but the Craitish champions were outpriced in their estimations of the winger by "The Red Tide", with the Gerenian side aiming to reclaim a third domestic title after finishing third last year. It is thought that the finer points of Christiansen's deal include a buy-back clause of Cr 7 million for Cherry Trees.

Christiansen's move looks to spark further transfers in the capital, with a bid rumoured to have been received for out-of-favour striker Zen Daviddlaw, while Francesc Hernández is reportedly looking to move to Tellia. Following a solid World Cup showing, there are also whispers of Tellian winger Marko Zajc being courted by Cherry Trees, but no official move has been made of yet.

Craitman wrote:Biulya äqi Jedu have wasted no time in bringing in some new faces after seemingly being beaten to the signature of one of Craitland's more promising youngsters in Markko Christiansen. BäJ have taken advantage of the unattached status of two players from this year's World Cup, with both coming from Valencia.

Right-sided midfielder Santiago Javier, 25, has been brought in as a potential replacement for the departing Manta Pellegrino. Javier, originally Jamzinian-born, has been a hot property at times during his career so far, and has found himself playing in Sanilla and Antica in more recent years but has been without a club for just over a year. However, maintaining form through training paid-off with some good showings in Craitland this year as Valencia made it to the knock-out stages, and BäJ are apparently willing to run the risk that he can come good in the right set-up.

Joining Javier is his fellow Valencian; centre-back Christian Elvira. The 30 year-old has also been unattached for just over a year, having last played for Skiron FA in the AntiLeague, where he also starred at left-back on occasion. While not appearing much for Valencia this summer, a month-long trial has seen him flourish in a setting with League 1 players, and his work has been rewarded with a contract at the champions.

Javier has been trusted with Manta's number seven shirt; an indication of the role he is likely to play for the side, while Elvira takes the 13 jersey with the expectation of initially being a back-up to a previously-settled defensive unit.

Craitman wrote:Hänävissen-ó-Cräiteland have continued their squad rebuilding in light of a wave of retirements by acquiring two free agents.

Birgesh central midfielder Ætaňur Chanojk has joined HóC after being released from Rosenborg City following Afrikaana's demise and loss of FMF membership. The 28 year-old is a regular for Birgeshir and started for his nation in the team's matches during this summer's World Cup; scoring against Gotzborg in their final group game. Chanojk joined his previous club for a fee of Cr 1.5 million in 2013 from Giriş Holü FK and is used on the left of a midfield trio internationally, which could allow for HóC to utilise his skills in a number of positions alongside their other new additions. Chanojk becomes the second Birgesh player in League 1, alongside fellow HóC man Menkara Iňanojk, and takes the side's number 14 shirt.

Joining Chanojk is his fellow former-Rosenborg City midfielder, Björn Sigvarðsson. The Stormarker, 24, who primarily plays down the left, joined Rosenborg City two years ago as a free transfer following a falling-out with his previous side of one season; Birgeshir's Vanya Suvan FK. Sigvarðsson has fallen out of favour with Stormark's national side of late, and is looking to get back on the international scene with a good spell in League 1. The midfielder will wear HóC's number 24, to match his age at the time of signing for the club.

Following from the reporting of interest for Cherry Trees' Zen Daviddlaw, HóC have announced that they have made a bid for the Craitish forward, with sources reporting it to be around the Cr 7 million mark. The two clubs have just under 36 hours to come to an agreement now.

Craitman wrote:Tellia's FC Fiorecittà have completed the Cr 10 million signing of Cherry Trees midfielder Francesc Hernández. The 27 year-old playmaker spent three seasons at Cherry Trees after signing for Cr 4.5 million from Les Verts Gaianiano in 2012. It was reported earlier in the week that the Valencian was hoping for a move back to Serie A, and FC Fiorecittà's interest culminated in an acceptable bid for the midfielder. Hernández's addition to FC Fiorecittà's squad looks to mean a potential exit for Alexandrian Kumi N'Kosi, who has been eyed by Osĵätoņ Aztecs in their desire to fill the gap left by Yaqin Senovichi and Vaja Neil's retirements.

In light of Hernández's departure from Craitland's capital, club captain Pasquale di Montezemolo has filled his vacated number four shirt, with on-loan striker Phillip Sherman taking "Monty's" old 19 jersey. Additionally, Jan Mikelt has swapped his eleven for eight; a move which indicates an incentive to play more centrally this season, as well as possibly freeing-up the number worn at international level by Tellian Marko Zajc, whom the club have been heavily linked with over the past couple of weeks.

Craitman wrote:As the countdown clock ticks on deadline day, Osĵätoņ Aztecs became the first team to announce a deal earlier this morning. As had been predicted following Francesc Hernández's high-profile move from Cherry Trees to FC Fiorecittà, the Tellian club permitted central midfielder Kumi N'Kosi to spend a season-long loan on the Craitish south coast.

N'Kosi, a full Alexandrian international, missed out on a place in this summer's World Cup squad due to injury, but has progressed playing in Serie A for a number of years and had garnered interest from a number of clubs. The Aztecs, having spent Cr 14 million on the combined transfers of Talenoreans Mahmud Abax and Kali Kalani earlier in the window were unable to seal N'Kosi's deal permanently due to financial restrictions, but agreed a loan with FC Fiorecittà with the option of making the deal permanent next summer. N'Kosi becomes the fourth Alexandrian under contract at the Aztecs, and it is likely that his compatriots swayed his decision to join the club.

The 27 year-old will wear the 22 jersey for his temporary team, and his move now leaves just one hole to fill in the Aztecs' squad; most likely to be filled by a defender after Paulio Demhivo's retirement this year.

Craitman wrote:Xäiville Teflons have brought in a familiar face to complete their squad before the deadline, with striker Jowi Bach agreeing terms as a free agent. Bach, 28, previously played in League 1 for Hänävissen-ó-Cräiteland for five seasons, after an initial Cr 15 million move from Royal Windsor, before leaving for Afrikaana's Rosenborg United for Cr 8 million two summers ago. With Afrikaana having now disbanded, Bach was unattached and free to sign for whoever he wished. The Teflons have replaced their only outgoing player this summer in Alex Kiker, with Bach looking to break into one of the most formidable striking partnerships in Micrasian football. However, Bach is the only player to have scored five goals in one World Cup finals match before, for Batavia against Toketi, so he also knows where the goal is. Now eligible for the Northern Beneluccas' team, Bach takes the club's 21 shirt which was vacated upon Kiker's retirement.

The 30 year-old Afrikaanian-born stopper last played for Rosenborg United before its liquidation, and was Afrikaana's captain during the entirety of their FMF membership. He is now eligible for the NAD national team and was their first choice throughout qualifying, keeping three clean sheets, and will take over Kealb's number 13 as last worn by Timo Bierrelaš.

Craitman wrote:Biulya äqi Jedu have made a statement signing on deadline day with the capture of winger Freddie ten Brinckelen. The Zandt left-sider, has been signed from his hometown side AFC Hamstadt for a fee of Cr 9 million. The 22 year-old has featured in all three of Zandarijn's World Cup squads and gained his first cap at 16. Having won multiple domestic and international trophies with AFC Hamstadt, he has decided to bring his talents to Craitland with the hope of repeating the successes that fellow Zandt wonderkid Daniël Lavan-Olsen has had since playing in League 1.

While the fee involved in ten Brinckelen's move is almost double what the club was prepared to pay for last season's on-loan winger Markko Christiansen to make his deal permanent, BäJ are clearly putting faith in the youngster's abilities and aiming to continue the performances that have helped AFC Hamstadt to three consecutive CTFA Champions' League victories in recent seasons. Ten Brinckelen will take the team's 19 shirt.

AFC Hamstadt have signed free agent Ross Bos, 22, to replace ten Brinckelen. Zandt Bos played for rivals Prins Haven Atletisch until 2013, when he was signed by Afrikaana's Al-Alhi FC for Cr 1.5 million, before being made a free agent last year.

A Cr 2.5 million deal has been agreed with Vyktory's Jamestown United for 21 year-old James Ecclestone. The national team defender featured for Vyktory in their run to the interconfederational play-off in the World Cup qualifiers this year, helping his side keep four clean sheets, despite being unable to stop Jamestown being relegated from the VPL last season. Ecclestone is considered one of Vyktory's brightest young talents, having won the Under-21 Defender of the Year award last season, and is said to be relishing the chance to play in League 1. The youngster, who becomes the first Vyktoryan to play in Craitland, will take the club's number five; a potential signal that he will be in contention for a starting role this season.

Craitman wrote:FC Fiorecittà have continued their dealings with League 1 clubs during this window after sending two highly-rated youths out on loan to struggling sides.

Straight after signing James Ecclestone, Róndlinga Diamonds have completed their squad with the addition of midfielder Jón-Vorgeņ Herä. The Crait, 21, is a product of FC Fiorecittà's famed academy and can play in a number of positions, but left-wing looks like a prime option for the Diamonds this year. Herä takes the club's number eleven jersey.

Zekäbelóman Kahthajtensen have also rounded-up their 25 with a similar loan. Striker Jan Tórsen, who has impressed during pre-season, joins as a likely partner for Tór Fredriksen as ZK look to improve their league standing. Tórsen is 22 and Craitish, and will wear the 19 shirt, with Roy Bakker slotting into the vacated number seven; a switch which matches the role he has been playing down the team's right side of late.
