Re: 2017 Craitish transfers
Craitman wrote:Biulya äqi Jedu have begun trying to replace the notable retirees that left the club this summer, with the Cr 16 million signing of Vincent Chertrand-Pernet a statement of intent with their first move of the window.
The 24 year-old's signature can be seen as somewhat of a coup following the successful World Cup he had earlier this summer, as the forward joins after a short period at Garrak Athletic, who have received over Cr 55 million in transfer fees this year already. A Franciscania Athletic academy graduate, Chertrand-Pernet came to public attention with his match-winning brace from the bench in injury time of the final of the 2012 CTFA Champions' League as a teenager. Having grown into a player of some calibre, noted for his ability to play a number of roles in the top third of the pitch, his three goals in Senya this year showed he is reaching his potential as an attacking threat.
The Alexandrian-born forward has been handed Lucas Zaya's former 21 shirt, and is thought to be likely to slip into the right of a front three for BäJ, with Tellian Gianluca Salmoiraghi a very similar player and already established down the team's left side. With Gerenia's Zelmar Toscano in behind, now adorned with the number ten, BäJ's offensive options are there to rival any other club on Micras' should they gel together.
The club are thought to be looking at acquiring an established right-back before the transfer deadline, while the remaining two squad places are likely to be awarded to youth products.

Craitman wrote:After a lengthy negotiation period, Kealb have finally got their man and signed Mercury striker Michael Jolliffe. As was reported, Kealb were interested in the 26 year-old as a replacement in light of Marc Mortensen's retirement, and with his starting options potentially limited with the signing of Andrew Miller, the Tow Law captain was seemingly open to the move.
Kealb and Tow Law had been thrashing out a deal for a number of days, and it was also thought the deal could be scuppered at the last minute with a Cr 6 million bid from domestic rivals Mercury City coming in, but Kealb's counter proposal of Cr 6.5 million was enough to see the saboteurs off and secure the move. In moving, Jolliffe becomes the fifth new face at Grey Park this summer and will wear number 14 as he looks to slip into a side with considerably more confidence than previous years thanks to some solid transfer dealings and a degree of organised planning for the season ahead.

Craitman wrote:To end the weekend flurry of transfers, Róndlinga Diamonds have acquired the services of Senyan defender Jan Ƨardënöčer on a free transfer. The 22 year-old last played professionally for Miše FC in Safiria prior to their demise in 2015, but received a call-up to the under-21s for the Colney Cup last year. A former-Senya B cap, the centre-back has seen struggles with injury in the past, but has impressed on trial with the Diamonds as they aim to replace Peter MacKenȝie's vacancy in the squad and will take the number twenty.

Craitman wrote:Kealb have signed free agent Maxwell Stoner. The 20 year-old midfielder had been without a club since Safiria's death in 2015, having been on the books of Miše FC up to then, and appeared in the World Cup two summers ago for Athlon as a teenager.
His signing completes Kealb's 25-man squad well ahead of the transfer deadline - as manager Peter Ula had hoped, with the aim of settling his side in advance for a push up the table - and the youngster takes the vacant number 18 jersey as the first Athlonian to join a League 1 club.

Re: 2017 Craitish transfers
Craitman wrote:Osĵätoņ Aztecs have announced the surprise capture of Craitish striker Tim Isrdlvarien from Kilbay City in Caputia.
Despite an expectation to 30 year-old would remain with City, the successor team to Kilbay Rangers, with whom he played since 2013, the Aztecs' management persuaded him to join the team and make a return to playing in Craitland. While not a part of the national team's squad for the FMF World Cup this summer on account of Hamland's disjointed season prior to their collapse, the forward gained his 55th cap in a friendly against Coria in June, and is the second-highest active goalscorer for Craitland with 27 international goals to his name.
The move has solid grounding, with the Aztecs aiming to bring a new striker in after the departure of Florent Lassana-Traoré and Isrdlvarien's undoubted experience being a boon, but his lack of first-team football could be a potential cause for concern, especially with career precedent that he is a player who thrives on regular game time. With a number of reputable attacking players on the team's squad list, he may not enjoy the benefits of being a guaranteed starter, but with a few years left in him, this move could also help reignite both his chances for club and country.
He takes the 14 shirt following his Cr 9 million transfer.

Craitman wrote:In what is seemingly a mini-homecoming of Craits from Caputia, following Isrdlvarien and Vorgensen's earlier moves, two more have secured moves back to the motherland.
Firstly, Róndlinga Diamonds have announced the acquisition of Jón Lydveldtsen. The 29 year-old central midfielder began his career with Kealb before switching places with Hamland's Ian Southgate and signing for Ad & Tkir United in 2010, with whom he played up until the demise of the HPL. The uncapped grafter received a surprise training camp call-up ahead of 2011's international tournaments, but has been out of the manager's plans ever since, with options aplenty in the middle of the park. Joining from Stade Tkir for Cr 4 million after a relatively good Premier Cup showing, Lydveldtsen takes the number eight shirt. The Diamonds are thought to also be interested in Jingdaoese midfielder Yao Tsutang after an impressive World Cup display as they aim to bring at least one more midfielder into their squad.
An unrelated Lydveldtsen has also signed for Eĵars Town, with striker Mattias arriving for a Cr 2.1 million fee. Coincidentally also 29 years-old, the forward last played in his home nation as a teenager, where he failed to make the grade at ZK before trying his luck in Alexandria. After ten years with the Baudrix Bears, being a comfortable reserve option, Lydveldtsen joined Asga Bears this summer after the Super 12's disbandment, where he scored twice in the Premier Cup, prompting interest from "The Pointers". A direct replacement for the retired Maärtin Hjólt, the striker takes the number 15, as Jarosław Brzęczyszczykiewicz moves to 11. In addition, Christophe Odemwingie will now wear the number three and Freddie Huläj the number two shirt.

An unknown commodity prior to this summer, the holding midfielder's consistent and composed displays were the backbone of Jingdao's surprising run to the FMF World Cup quarter-finals. Although three of Yao's international teammates already ply their trade in League 1, he becomes the first ethnically-Jingdaoese player in the division, and will wear the club's number four jersey after his Cr 2.3 million move.

Craitman wrote:Two free agents have been signed by League 1 teams as the transfer deadline draws ever closer and clubs try to complete their 25-man quotas.
Biulya äqi Jedu have given a chance to some offensive prowess as Tellian striker Nicolò Peruzzi joins. The 25 year-old is the younger brother of World Cup winner Andrea Luca, and appeared in the nation's under-21 squad in 2008, where he scored four goals prior to the tournament's infamous abandonment. Rated as equally as talented as his brother, Nicolò's career has been less fortunate, with his place at FC Fiorecittà lost after a long-term injury and subsequent spells at clubs being under short-term non-professional contracts. BäJ are hoping the forward can reïgnite the form he showed as a youth with a stable club, and have given him the number 23 jersey, as its previous holder Cameron Mena-ó-Xäi takes the vacated two.
The other incoming free agent is Alexandrian-born left-back David Cristo to Sverige Tiem. The now-Caputian also appeared in the 2008 under-21 World Cup and played for Olympique Créçois up until this summer, when the Alexandrian league collapsed. Having failed to agree a contract with Morfaga Olympique, as most other l'OC players did, the 28 year-old was available for free. Cristo will wear the club's number three and is expected to be in contention for a starting line-up position as both left by the retiring Marc Demhivo. In addition, Senyan winger Ƨinkœ Zvet has been confirmed as the team's number 14.

Re: 2017 Craitish transfers
Craitman wrote:At the seeming behest of their fans, Cherry Trees have made their first incoming signing of the window, having surprisingly struggled to attract any players up until now.
Caputian winger Ray Johnstone has been announced on a season's loan deal from Morfaga Olympique as the reigning champions aim to keep their attacking options open. The 31 year-old former-Hammish international is one of Micras' most well-known players, and can include two World Cup wins in his extensive honours list. A guaranteed starter for Hamland since his first squad inclusion in 2011, the right-sider can also boast winner's medals from an EMU Championships, three EMUFA Champions' Leagues and an FMF Champions' League, as one of his country's most decorated players.
Having spent his entire career with hometown team Morfaga North Rangers up until the HPL's demise earlier this summer, Johnstone appeared in the Premier Cup for spiritual successor club Morfaga Olympique before agreeing to a first ever move abroad. While it is thought a permanent move was Cherry Trees' main desire, an apprehension from the Caputian end to let the midfielder leave permanently led to a loan move instead.
Johnstone takes the side's number 21, and will be up against Aprem Neil for a starting role this season, as the club aims to seal a second consecutive league title for the first time in a decade.

The 24 year-old is a well-known player in his home country, and is an international starter. Some solid performances in AEFA competitions so far this season drew the Teflons' interest in Serdučik as they aim to bolster their defence after the retirement of Krzysztof Łukasz, and a loan deal was preferred by the Krasnarusyn capital city club. Serdučik takes the number 5 jersey, giving expectation he is in contention for regular starts, and will remain with the club until next June.

Craitman wrote:With the transfer deadline passing at midnight last night, no further external moves were made by clubs in League 1, making a rather underwhelming deadline day in comparison to the last couple which saw the mega-money incoming moves of Marko Zajc and Tamer Modrem. However, with a number of squad places remaining to fill, the annual intake of youth promotions from the CÓNECT academy occurred, with the following twelve youngsters now entering their rookie seasons:
Biulya äqi Jedu
12. Jären Petersen - 18 year-old right-back born in Biulya, strong, stocky and defence-minded
15. Ken Jormundsen - central midfielder, 19, with an eye for a pass and half-Storish parentage
Cherry Trees
12. Anders Dhiam - Left-footed winger, 19, who enjoys cutting in and chancing a shot
Eĵars Town
22. Joel-Morteņ Isrdlvarien - 20 year-old versatile defender, likely to be shaped into a right-back
25. Hóldarman Kahthajtensen - Midfielder, 17, who is the first of the famed Kahthajtensen family to play in the top tier
Hänävissen-ó-Cräiteland
12. Ólrik Dernam - 21 year-old sweeper to add to the team's defensive options
Osĵätoņ Aztecs
13. Tom Gränsen - Left-sided midfielder, 18, who has shown promise but has problems with injury
Róndlinga Diamonds
12. Yaqin Lydveldtsen - Highly-rated 21 year-old right-winger who will challenge to start
Xäiville Teflons
17. Ndola Hemingway - Rapid left wing-back with New Nsawamian ancestry, youngest promotion this year at 16
18. Danny Christiansen - 19 year-old midfielder with a reputation as a dead-ball specialist, with Marc Hjansen moving to #2
23. Jan Valdarhjen - Right-back, 18, touted as a prospect in the Daniel Hjansen mould but a record of poor discipline
Zekäbelóman Kahthajtensen
21. Marc K'echhlem - Defensive midfielder, 19, who will help the team's tactical versatility
