Daocheng FC have acquired Florian international Noah James after signing the free agent early in the January 2018 window. After selling Yao Tsutang in the summer, Daocheng have been short in central midfield and subsequently struggled in AEFA competitions. James' signing will strengthen the team whilst broadening the Heavenly Championship's profile abroad as the league's organisers had hoped for this year.
