Re: 2018 Craitish transfers
Craitman wrote:With the opening of this summer's transfer window, the following players have returned to their parent clubs after loan spells elsewhere.
Experienced Caputian winger Ray Johnstone ends a frustrating spell at Cherry Trees with a WMFA Champions' League medal around his neck. Though used primarily as cover for Aprem Neil during his time in the capital, the two-time World Cup winner made a number of appearances from the bench to help the team win a first WMFA title, on penalties over Tellia's FC Fiorecittà, despite missing-out on winning League 1 in the final round of matches.
Krasnarusyn defender Eskender Serdučik returns home after an experimental season in Craitland. Unavoidable rotations and inconsistency were the club's downfall as they ended the season with the most goals conceded of all League 1 teams, as Serdučik was unable to nail down a regular starting place. The 24 year-old managed to find the net once; scoring a late equaliser against Kealb in February.
Niko Jeglič is the only player returning to a Craitish team after a year abroad. The attacking midfielder spent the campaign at Partizan Averna in his adopted nation of Coria, and his experience led the team to a respectable fifth place after being promoted last year.

Craitman wrote:The two previously-agreed deals involving Craitish clubs have been confirmed.
Corian striker Uros Kocic's Cr 7.5 million move from Red Bear Dragonmoor to Zekäbelóman Kahthajtensen was completed upon June 1st beginning; a deadline which saw the termination of the RB franchise and the official formation of its successor Dragonmoor FC, to which Sverige Tiem midfielder Sa Pazi sealed a pre-arranged deal for Cr 5 million.
Kocic, 24, joins ZK with the club aiming to bounce back from a poor last-placed finish in League 1 this season, with a King's Cup final appearance and subsequent WMFA football to look forward to as a potential boon in attracting new talent as a means of improving.
Conversely, Pazi leaves Sverige off the back of the club's most successful campaign after a first ever league-and-cup double was secured. Soon to be 31, Pazi ends over a decade's association with Tiem and can boast a hat-trick of both League 1 and King's Cup titles amongst his palmarès; invaluable experience he will surely bring to the Florian top division side.

Re: 2018 Craitish transfers
Craitman wrote:In the usual swing of the Craitish transfer window, twenty players in League 1 have announced their retirements from the sport following the end of the season.
Biulya äqi Jedu's offensive corps will need replenishing somewhat following with two strikers retiring. Trusted reserves Mantólio Hjansen and Morteņ Jónsen, both 33, are hanging up their boots after 16 seasons with BäJ, having joined the club ahead of its maiden 2003 season. BäJ are also saying goodbye to defensive stalwart Will Jonsen this summer; another player who has been with the club since their inauguration, who earned three Craitish caps and was named in the squad for the 2013 World Cup.
After winning a first WMFA Champions' League title, Cherry Trees are parting ways with two highly-respected players this year. Leon and Venezia-born defensive midfielder Gonzalo Mascaroni, 35, brings to a close a six-season association with the club, having joined from Crécy for free in 2012 - a considered bargain having helped the team to six titles since. Another 35 year-old, the versatile Lee Hong-Jo also brings to an end a glittering career. The former-Taesongean began his career in Craitland with the Teflons and signed for Cherry Trees in 2008, with his ability to cover anywhere along the back line and wings a huge boon over the past decade.
Eĵars Town's only outgoing player is a notable one, as club captain Lydveldt Óstvaär calls it quits. The 34 year-old has led the team since their creation in 2004 and lifted six trophies during his captaincy, as well as earning two Craitish caps between 2014 and 2016. Midfielder Adám Perryman has been handed the team's armband for the upcoming season.
Hänävissen-ó-Cräiteland are the biggest losers to retirements this year, with four players ending their careers. The most well-known of them is former-Hammish international centre-back Eddie Winters, 35, with the double World Cup winner retiring after seven years with HóC and a King's Cup medal. Goalkeeper Vorgeņ Pellegrino, also 35, is hanging-up his gloves 16 years after beginning his career, having spent the majority of it as the club's first choice and winning ten Craitland caps since his first call-up a decade ago. The team's other retirees are Craitish forwards Alan Oesst-Sdaa, who appeared in the 2007 Under-21 World Cup, and Tommy Loresen, both 33, who have been regularly-used striking options for the team since joining for the 2006 season.
Two players are leaving this season's surprise package and Cities' Cup winners Kealb. Right-back Juliaĵ Jonsen, 33, leaves after 15 seasons with the club with his performances in 2012 earning him a place in Craitland's training squad that summer, while Kampongese-born Xangese central defender Kong Kea Sakngea, 34, ends a six-year association with the side after impressing on trial in 2012.
Osĵätoņ Aztecs' sole retirement is arguably the biggest of the summer, with goalkeeping legend Jack Vorgensen ending his career aged 38. Despite being deputy to Sileman Bɏankarlënœ the past couple of seasons, Vorgensen is one of Craitland's most successful ever players, having been first choice for all four of Craitland's World Cup victories - gaining 100 caps in the process - and winning ten club titles with the Aztecs since joining at the age of 22 for the inaugural League 1 campaign.
With Róndlinga Diamonds losing no players to retirement, Sverige Tiem's Oscar Senovichi is next in line; the club's only outgoing is the league's oldest player, at age 41, who ends his career with a league and cup double to his name despite being a back-up to Jesse Lydveldt. Senovichi spent 16 seasons in Tiem, winning six trophies, and was a regular in Craitish squads between 2010 and 2013, earning twelve caps and winning two World Cup medals.
Xäiville Teflons will be missing three fan favourites next season, including their club captain of the past five seasons. Attacking midfielder Ben Viĵoa led the team to three consecutive trophy-winning seasons after gaining the armband in 2013, but the 33 year-old, who joined the club 16 years ago and scored four times in 28 Craitish caps, is retiring. Striker Tom Kenstein, 36, is also finishing playing having spent six years in Xäiville, winning all three CrFA trophies, with the Toketin one of the World Cup's most prolific goalscorers in his prime. Fellow 36 year-old Serge F'ermo adds another goalkeeper to the list as well, after 16 years as the Teflons' number one, having trained with the national team in the summer of 2008.
Lastly, ZK have a further three retirements, with three well-travelled players calling time. Most notably, Craitish forward Tór Fredriksen, 33, has chosen to end his career. Despite returning from a horrific injury to score in last weekend's King's Cup final, the 27-cap, nine-goal international has decided not to risk further pain by continuing playing and ends his career having won multiple titles in both Craitland and Hamland. Fredriksen's part-time striker partner Lydveldt Mortensen, also 33, ends his seven-season spell with ZK, having previously played in Passas, Enthdover and Victoria prior to 2011. Finally, midfield enforcer Vilhelm Markschmidt, 40, hangs his boots up six years after joining the club from HóC after promotion - the Colish-born player has since gone on to appear in two World Cups, including last year's, for Gotzborg during a rejuvenated twilight of his career, and won the King's Cup in 2010.

Re: 2018 Craitish transfers
Craitman wrote:Xäiville Teflons have struck the market early in finding a replacement for the outgoing Serge F'ermo; securing the signing of Florian international stopper Patrick Marshall.
Marshall, who turned 27 this year, was first choice for the now-defunct Red Bear Dragonmoor last season as the club finished second in the league and has been in impressive form for the Florian national side during their Copa Apollonia qualifiers, with four clean sheets so far securing them a play-off place in their first ever competitive campaign.
With his talents garnering interest throughout Micras, the Teflons bid Cr 11 million only a few days into the window's opening - before any increase in valuation could occur through a potentially-successful Copa Apollonia - which made Marshall the second most expensive goalkeeper to be transferred on Micras. Marshall immediately takes the Teflons' number one jersey and is expected to hold favour over veteran Daniel Palazio and youngster Will Tór next season already.
In additional news from Xäiville, central-defender Morgaņ Ĵaärgo has been handed the captain's armband in light of Ben Viĵoa's retirement earlier this week.

Craitman wrote:Midfielder Niko Jeglič has left Zekäbelóman Kahthajtensen on a permanent basis; joining Corian outfit Partizan Averna for Cr 500,000.
The 33 year-old spent last season on loan at Partizan and saw somewhat of a resurgence in his form as one of the league's standout players and earning himself consistent call-ups to his adopted national team of Coria, having spent most of his career being eligible for his homeland of Ocia until 2013. In total, Jeglič spent seven seasons with ZK, including last, after joining on a free transfer in 2011 to help them win the League 2 title in 2012 and subsequently be promoted to the Craitish top flight.
Additionally, Jeglič's international teammate, and ZK acquisition earlier in the window, Uros Kocic has been given the club's number nine jersey following Tór Fredriksen's retirement.

Re: 2018 Craitish transfers
Craitman wrote:Kealb have made their first signing of the summer, with a statement of intent coming in the form of Cherry Trees right-back Asil Karganov.
The 22 year-old, who will turn 23 before next season, has signed for a club record fee of Cr 13.1 million; an amount which makes the move the most expensive between two League 1 clubs, surpassing the Cr 12.5 million paid for Andrew Miller by the Teflons in 2012. With Maxime Sion firmly established as Cherry Trees' first-choice right-back, Karganov's primary opportunity at a regular starting place lay at another club, with Kealb's recent loss of Juliaĵ Jonsen through retirement leaving them short of a right-sided defender.
With Cherry Trees having finished only one place above Kealb in the league this season, the transfer fee may have been slightly inflated, but Kealb will be happy with their acquisition. The ethnic-Incontinentian was named as one of CÓNECT's biggest prospects upon leaving the academy to sign professionally with Cherry Trees in 2014, and has shown considerable talent when permitted to play, earning a place in the under-21 national team's Colney Cup squads in 2016 and 2017 before outgrowing the age limit. In joining Kealb, who have shown faith in young Craitish talents in recent seasons to successful ends, with this year's Cities' Cup triumph ending a decade without silverware, Karganov will hope regular football and the potential of creating a partnership down the right wing with Alexis Pellegrino - who is a shoo-in for the Benacia Cup this summer - will pay dividends for his career.
Karganov slots straight into the vacant number two jersey at Grey Park as the second-most expensive Craitish player in history.

The 22 year-old competed earlier this year as a back-up in the Colney Cup, and is seen as a strong prospect in his position for the future. Currently behind twice-capped Hjaņ Ula in the BäJ pecking order, Ujestcqist is being farmed-out for the 2018-19 campaign to allow him to gain invaluable experience as he is likely to challenge for the starting spot in Dragonmoor.

Re: 2018 Craitish transfers
Craitman wrote:Xäiville Teflons made the most of the summer's brief interlude between confederational finals tournaments to conduct a busy day's worth of transfer business. A double signing from North Antarctica's Lokomotiv Capital has seen a combination of defensive experience and attacking youth arrive in north-west Craitland.
In an overall deal worth Cr 14 million, Shirerithian defender Fjalar Stefánsson and Napian winger Martin Vanderkaay have put pen to paper. Stefánsson, 29, joins after a successful Benacia Cup campaign that saw him help Shireroth to their first final, with some impressive defensive displays including a clean sheet against Craitland and even a goal versus Kalgachia. Stefánsson had been based in North Antarctica since completing a Cr 11.5 million move from Tellia's Vecchiacittà Calcio in 2013. The versatile defender, who is comfortable at both right- and centre-back, will wear the club's number five shirt and reportedly covers Cr 8 million of the deal's total.
Vanderkaay joins as somewhat of an unknown quantity. A very highly-rated prospect in his teenage years, having been included in the under-21 Giorgio Menti Trophy squad for his academy at just 15 years-old, he has found it difficult to break into the Lokomotiv first team. Now aged 21, and the younger of two footballing brothers, winger Vanderkaay has agreed to move to the Teflons having learned of their role in helping develop young talents into world-beaters, such as Daniël Lavan-Olsen and Andrew Miller. Costing the club a seeming Cr 6 million, the faith is there in Vanderkaay to be repaid, as he takes the 21 jersey with Jowi Bach dropping into the vacant number nine.

Craitman wrote:Hänävissen-ó-Cräiteland have completed their first incoming move of the summer, as they aim to replace a number of retirements. 28 year-old striker Óscar Christóphersen has agreed to move from Eĵars Town in a deal worth Cr 4.5 million.
Christóphersen joined Eĵars in the summer of 2013 from League 2 side Osĵätoņ Town and scored 18 league goals over the five subsequent seasons as he struggled to hold-down a regular starting position, but did develop a knack of scoring in cup competitions. HóC will be getting a striker who should be able to play well alongside Van Veen or Daviddlaw; happy to supply rather than score, and takes the team's number 19.
Christóphersen's departure indicates an aim to improve in Eĵars, after last season's fourth-placed finish, and rumours abound that a big signing is to be expected in the coming days, with Jan-Morteņ Juliaĵsen reportedly in talks to leave the Aztecs.

Craitman wrote:In a summer that has seen some considerable transfer activity already, Eĵars Town have upped the ante and signed Xäiville Teflons striker Łukasz Dąbrowski for a record-breaking Cr 33.4 million.
The Passasian forward becomes the most expensive player ever transferred between two clubs in the same nation - superseding the Cr 30 million move of Senya's Barnaby Hands earlier this summer - and also makes the 28 year-old the first player to be bought for an eight-figure sum on three occasions. Having initially been linked with Jan-Morteņ Juliaĵsen, Eĵars' move for Dąbrowski comes as a mild surprise, though not because of any questions over his talents. The forward has been the league's most prolific goalscorer over the past five seasons, notching more than a hundred goals at an average of well over twenty a season; a record that, when combined with new strike partner Will Zóma's golden boots from the past two seasons, will have most Town fans salivating. Dąbrowski takes the number ten shirt vacated by Óscar Christóphersen only yesterday.
Additionally, Cherry Trees are unexpected beneficiaries of this move, having included a sell-on clause in Dąbrowski's move to Xäiville in 2013, and will see an undisclosed percentage of the fee land in their wallet.
Having seen a number of retirements, and bringing in fresh faces, this looks like a transitional period for the Teflons, who will now be able to find strong replacements all over the park despite losing arguably their biggest asset. Conversely, Eĵars stock has now risen considerably, and with only a defender expected to be their only other acquisition, they are now among the favourites to challenge for Sverige's title come September.

Craitman wrote:Cherry Trees have continued their summer of outgoings with the sale of two youth products to Florian outfit Stonehall Hotspur.
A Cr 10 million joint-deal sees defender Lars Mikeltsen, 24, and striker Alexis Pedersen, 22, move abroad after limited opportunities over the past couple of seasons. The pair signed professional terms with Cherry Trees in the summer of 2013 after graduating CÓNECT in the same year, but have played second fiddle to an otherwise star-studded squad during this time, despite earning multiple league and Champions' League winner's medals since. Both rated as strong prospects upon joining Cherry Trees, Pedersen will be hoping to hit the free-scoring form he displayed in the academy as Mikeltsen, who was also under consideration as a target for BäJ this summer, is expected to face stronger opposition more regularly to prove himself in defence.

Gerenian international Jan Korau has joined Senyan side Dyas Scitenhima Ĵets for a fee of 13.5 million craites. Korau, who has expressed frustration recently with his now former team Osĵätoņ Aztecs, has made the move back to the Apollonian mainland. In an interview, he criticised the Aztecs and claimed they were "moving backwards and weren't looking forward", echoing Minyorletsken's rant at Svorgas Scitenhima yesterday. The move adds defensive stability to an already strong back four, though fans will still be keen for the club to make some attacking additions before the window closes.

With his parent club Dyas Scitenhima Ĵets splashing-out on Gerenian Jan Korau earlier today, the move was completed after weeks of speculation with the only hitch being the Ĵets' desire to secure a replacement. The 29 year-old, who started every game for Senya during their run to the World Cup final in 2017 and was a key part of the side's back-to-back Copa Apollonia triumphs, joins Eĵars on an initial season-long loan, though a clause in the deal obligates for a permanent transfer to be completed next summer - Eĵars' huge deal for Łukasz Dąbrowski affecting their ability to spend on a permanent transfer this window.
A guaranteed starter this term, barring injury, Van Kotrisbond takes the club's number six jersey and completes a 25-man roster that most pundits are expecting to challenge on all fronts this year.
