Re: Caputian transfers 2018
Florian side Northcliff United have wasted no time in making a statement in this summer's transfer window, in light of Dragonmoor City's recent acquisition of Sa Pazi, with a double-signing totalling Cr 19 million being confirmed within the first few days of the window being open.
The 2018 Florian champions' coup comes in the form of two midfielders from Caputian club Morfaga Olympique; winners of the FAC Premier Cup.
The primary signing of the deal is former-Alexandrian international François Bousquet. The 29 year-old scored the only goal in the aforementioned Premier Cup final last year, and was a regular in Alexandria's tournament squads up until his homeland's demise. After a solid season in his adopted home of Caputia, he will be hoping to gain a place in the Caputian squad for EMU 2018 after helping them to qualify in their first ever competitive campaign this year. Bookkeepers valuate Bousquet's move to Northcliff at the Cr 13.5 million mark.
The remainder of the deal sees Jacques Modrem make the same move to southern Apollonia. The 24 year-old is the younger brother of superstar Tamer Modrem, and has also been capped internationally, albeit by Mahoz HaSephardim through his father's Matbaic origins. Modrem, now eligible to represent Raspur, has played an important role for Morfaga since joining from the defunct Olympique Créçois as a youthful burst to an otherwise ageing midfield. His move consists of Cr 5.5 million of the overall deal.
Bousquet will wear the number 18 at United, with Modrem taking the same 22 which he wore at Morfaga.
