Re: Aryasht SCUE Application
From what I can tell, only one citizen doesn't have an account already (Aryeztur). Is this correct?

I'm not sure. I think the others all have accounts. By the way, I should be listed as Lord of Norfolk (or Norfolknath).

Elijah: Emperor Aryeztur does not have his own account at this time.
Benkern: I have updated the application to reflect your Lordship.

Re: Aryasht SCUE Application
Thank you for your consideration. I hate to be a pedant but the title is still incorrect - this is because I was unclear. "Norfolknath" means "Lord of Norfolk". So I can be "Lord of Norfolk" or "Norfolknath", but not "Lord of Norfolknath". That title would probably be reserved for the monarch.

Benkern: Thank you for clarifying. The name of the province has been changed.

Re: Aryasht SCUE Application
Welcome (I've been on a camp the last couple days, hence only posting now). As normal, we'll need to wait a week or so to see if anyone objects but otherwise you're in (I'll count it from Monday when you posted this). You know all this stuff. And yes, Aryeztur is the only one without an active bank account.
A comment on provinces though. Please please please reduce the number. The level of provincial size is meant to be the equivalent of Shirithian duchies, so that you actually have a couple citizens in each province. A good rule of thumb is having no more provinces than you have citizens - unless you're planning a very in depth economy with each citizen having multiple bank accounts in different provinces, you shouldn't need more provinces than you have citizens (and indeed, you don't really need provinces at all unless province level financial regulation/taxation is relevant for your country). 12 provinces for 4 citizens is a bit much. Could you go up an organisational level or two, please?

Re: Aryasht SCUE Application
Sorry, I didn't see the province list, or I would have made a comment about it. I absolutely agree with Andreas on this (and see the Safiria request thread - the provinces are a pain to reorganise and I don't want to inflict extra work on him). I'm not the official spokesperson on this but for now it might be a good idea to have two provinces: Mahapur, capital (will include government accounts and those who don't have another province) and Greater Aryasht (to include Norfolk, Rulak, and all the mainland provinces). This would balance out our small number of accounts, because Aryeztur will probably be Mahapur, with other accounts for the Treasury, government, and any commercial enterprises located in the capital; then myself and Ryan can be in the provinces. I'm not sure if Giles will be a provincialist or not. But any regional commercial enterprises can also have their accounts in the Greater Aryasht province. Some food for thought.Andreas the Wise wrote:Welcome (I've been on a camp the last couple days, hence only posting now). Re: Aryasht SCUE Application
Sorry for not commenting here before. For now, we can go with 4 provinces. This might not reflect the actual internal divisions we have in Aryasht but for the sake of economic policy here, we will have 4 provinces. And yes, I do not have an account as yet, but that can be rectified.

OK, that's been a week or more. I've added your country and provinces to the bank - just register a government account and tell me what it is, and I'll put the starting funds in there.
