Resigning as SCUE Administrator
As you might have noticed, I'm not as active as I once was, and now that some the Micras economy is actually starting to heat up again, I think the SCUE deserves an administrator who is actually active. To that end, I am resigning as SCUE Administrator, effective as soon as a successor can be elected. I'll keep admin powers on the bank for the practical reason that now Erik's gone, I'm the one left who actually understands the programming, but won't use them for acctually doing SCUE Administrator type stuff (like adding/deleting nations, changing people's accounts between nations etc.).
According to the treaty, signatory nations can elect a new administrator when you don't have one. We'll go for a simple first past the post system. I'll accept nominations for a week or so, and then run the actual election. This list of current member nations is now up to date (except that it includes Mercury, who are still being added, and excludes Haifa, who are to be removed when Mercury are added), so they're the people I consider entitled to vote. If any of them have gone bust while I haven't been paying attention and need to be removed, let me know and I'll also make sure that happens.
As to the administrator role itself, the key part is to process new member applications, remove dead members as appropriate, and to move accounts between nations (as national administrators can only move accounts within a nation). They can also provide a record of relevant bank transactions if requested to do so by a micronational court for the purposes of tracking fraud or other financial crimes (as a personal policy, I've only done this if a court actually officially requests it of me, not for any other reason). But with renewed economic interest, I could see the role also being an opportunity to promote economic development and cooperation, depending who is elected.
So yeah, nominations. I have one myself - I'd like to nominate Duke Sinclair aka Opyeme Time.

I happily accept Andreas' nomination. Unless the community decides that there is someone else more qualified, I would be glad to lead SCUE.

Duke Sinclair seems like a good bet.
Formerly His Imperial Niftiness Yardistanislaus du Grifos, former Kaiser of Shireroth
Now just Vilhelm Benkern, Count of Mar Sara
Suzerain of Hawshire // Peil̊åkti an Ixraǔtn | Protector of the Safir // Xonuti Shawa 'allumi Sanilla'i'i | King of the Free State of Sanilla

Given that response, I'll start a vote to confirm Duke Sinclair as the new administrator.
