We need a new council NOW
Honestly this is outrageous I think we need a new council, let not just talk about it, we need a new one. I have no say on what happens right near my own nation.First an admin creates his own island and gives it to his nation with out a vote.
The land gaining from a treaty is denied, How ironic that a nation whose leader is on the council wanted the same land, his got accepted. hmmm?
You can give me your bull crap reasons why this stuff just happens to happen.

HolzerKaiser. I'm not in the council and never have been, but on the examples you have given, they're not corrupt.
1. Before I even start, I will tell you to get your facts right in future.
2. Had you ever thought that the Council might have thought Riponia more deserving of more land than yourself?
3. Treaty obligations between two nations mean nothing to the MCS.
3b. If I am to gather from the slurry of abuse within certain threads that: Lovely said to Holzer Empire, you may have some of our land as your own then
3b,i. Thats up to the MCS not Lovely becuase it is a reduction on Lovely's part and to all intents and puposes a claim on your part, so it must be voted upon and can therefore be denied.
3b,ii. The land is no longer Lovely's so even if it was up to Lovely whether you were going to have there land or not in the first place, it certainly isn't now because it's not theirs to give away.
4. The Holzer Empire's activity is much less than that of Riponia's (notably because Riponia havent moved forums 43 times in the past 8 minutes).
4a. Thusforth, Riponia are more deserving of an expansion than Holzer Empire.
5. Riponia have not expanded in a very long while, whereas the Holzer Empire has expanded within the last 2 months.
6. Not really a deciding factor on claims but nonetheless, Riponia use the right map font.
7. Pete, in his authority as Emperor of Kataria is fully within his rights to claim any piece of land on the MCS when he likes.
7a. This claim, like any other submitted to the Society, must go through the correct claims procedure (which it did).
7b. As Pete is in direct connection to the claim, he is not permitted to vote on that particular claim in his authority as MCS Council Member (The same happened with Chris and Riponia's claim).
7c. The claim was then accepted by the other members of the MCS Administration Council with a majority, meaning that it became official and would be added to the map at the next update.
8. I have made my feeling on the MCS Council heard many a time, and do not wish to repeat them, however, I do feel we need fresh blood in the Council, but I don't feel that the points you raised provide just cause for the current Council's dismissal.
End rant.

Bzzt. Wrong. If a nation cedes land to another, we need something to prove that the land was officially decided to be ceded, which is usually in the form of a Treaty. Although it should be noted that in that case, the recieving nation should be deserving of the land, as though it were a normal claim. You can't just sign off all your lands to your slightly less inactive friend.3. Treaty obligations between two nations mean nothing to the MCS.

That's true, you're right actually: the Council isn't obligated to follow Treaties. But I wanted to point out that Treaties (or other agreements) are needed in some circumstances.
