With all due respect, I believe that Sirocco cannot be deleted for inactivity. They are being as active as possible, and one might consider checking their news service to realise that - http://siroccotimes.wordpress.com/
Not everyone is using Micras by using the forum, but they are using that territory for simulation - that does include myself, for example, who have done a lot of documents about Novolandia in real life, on paper.

Re: Sirocco
I know that the principle arguement here is that there is no "online" proof. However, Sirocco is a nation that is easily contactable, Ando constantly makes himself available online, so asking for proof of activity shouldn't be that hard...
Perhaps the MCS needs to look into provisions for Wiki based nations, due to the fact that most nations joining the wiki now (other than ex-Batavian bastion puppets) are from communities that may be based on a wiki, often have more accesable platforms that they use too, such as MW Forums, MicroGroup and the Micropolitan Lounge, which aren't currently taken into account by the MCS.

Re: Sirocco
Our provisions for wiki-based nations are to check the wiki which they primarily use and any official websites (Sirocco do have a forum though). Unfortunately, it seems to be a MicroWiki trait that any changes to websites aren't always updated when they should be and we're left with only checking old sites which quickly run inactive. We're not here to run around after nations in case things have changed though - we should be informed. As for stuff like Skype groups, then no, those can't be considered for activity in the same way that posts on this forum aren't
Now that I know this news feed exists, however, I can check it in the future and exclude Sirocco from this month's removals...

Re: Sirocco
In that case, I should probably get back onto MicrasWiki and make some more riots to write aboutCraitman wrote:As for stuff like Skype groups, then no, those can't be considered for activity in the same way that posts on this forum aren't

Could he not have found out about this himself by, you know, paying us a visit once in a while?
