Version numbers
I am here to complain about the version number system being used.
13.0? Back in the day we used a more unix/linux style version number system, and it was more useful for knowing about major changes. the first number only changed when we did a major change to the map (new land, continents..etc), and the 2nd when there were substantial, but not major changes (a lot of new nations and removals at once), and the 3rd was just for your run of the mill updates depending on how much changed.
I would honestly suggest returning to this numbering system now that we are at the begining of a new series. It would take no real effort on the part of the MCS, and would allow us to search through old maps easier, knowing when major changes happened, making research and stuff easier.

It also has the disadvantages of people having to decide what's a small change, what's a larger change etc and with the map being updated about once a week most the time it is a small change
if there was a set number of claims for it to be a larger change it would be easy in theory but we have some huge claims like teh uber claim atm

to be honest I was thinking about that myself the other day. The current Numbering system is nonsensical.
How would this sound as a potential new system.
The First number refers to a 3 month period. (13 = Jan-Mar 2008)
The Second number shall reflect major changes
The Third number minor changes.
i.e. 14.2.3 whould reflect the period from the start of April until the End of June 2008 In which there has been 2 major updates and 3 minor updates.
