Are you trying to refer to that we have one citizen, or what? Because we have quite a few more than 1... I don't quite get that...dr-spangle wrote:and thinking about it, someone might be accurate
And even if I am the most active by far, I still put in a hell of a lot of work and effort, probably more than a lot of nations with their oh so many citizens do...

Well version 11 > 12 was a 'big change' - ie 12.0 was the first map in a while without that damned island that appeared within Straylight...
And I reiterate my call for an ubuntu-style versioning system, ie 8.01.03 would be in the 2008 set, month 1, map 3.

I like Pete's idea. It has the advantage of giving us an idea of when the map was made, and indicating large and small changes.
And it's not that hard to judge if a change was major or minor honestly... This uber update you speak of would obviously be a major change. Most weekly updates would be in the minor.. let's call it.. standard change category. while let's say... a new continent was added, a month of updates all happened at once, or a lot of nations were added or removed at once would be a Major change..
And allow for going into double digits in the 2nd and 3rd number set.
Yes, it's Numerical, doesn't mean it has an useful logic to it. It's just sequential, nothing more.
The problem with the Ubuntu way is it's just a date.. nothing more. The use of the first digit to give an idea of a certain period would give some idea of dates, and the next two of changes. which is a lot of useful information in just a version number.

To be fair I had a huge archive of them for a long time, even after I stopped running things here, and then even after I left Micronations for a while... So it's not sad..
The sad thing is I lost all my maps when my computer died, and I screwed up a key stroke when tinkering to fix it...
