I really don't give a fuck about the politics of power going on at the minute. I've been busy starting university recently and so I've not been too observant with what's been going on. Apologies if this has meant that I have ignored anything that has gone on.

I mean, I explicitly said that there were two possible motivations for willfully ignoring my claim, and politics was only one one of them. No doubt that you're busy, but you voted on at least two other claims which were posted after mine. Not active enough to vote on my claim, but active enough to vote on others?

I wouldn't be lodging this complaint if this were the first time that council members such as yourself have behaved in this way. I believe that all members, myself included, deserve better. It is not too much to ask that you vote on claims in the order they're submitted. If you truly aren't biased, then demonstrate this through your actions.

I do look at all posts in that forum when they come through, but usually, I'll only respond to the ones which are just straight forward. There must of been something I was unsure about with your claim (I can't remember as I'm not sure as to which claim you were referring to), and I just never got round to investigating it. Sometimes also it can be waiting until other council members have put forward a reason if they are more experienced than I am.

I apologise that this may seem like we're ignoring your requests, we're not, or at least I'm not anyway.

That is perfectly reasonable. In that case, I think it would be good, as Benkern said, if you could at least acknowledge the claim. A simple "I have seen this claim and am thinking about it," would be 100% sufficient. That would go a long way towards preventing similar issues in the future.

Cheers for the heads up on that. I think I may try and adopt this kind of approach in the future if people think it's useful :)

RL must always take precedence, Barnaby, and we all understand that there are periods where activity will be less. I've managed to be defenestrated from the Council twice for inactivity...
