Indigo and Momiji Maps
Indigo and Momiji Maps
These are maps I made for both Indigo and Momiji back when there was interest in colonizing additional worlds to Micras. Since they are considered the only other two habitable planets, these were the only two maps made. There used to be a much more detailed map of Momiji showing a great deal of topographic features, but this has been lost and I have not had any luck retrieving it.

Momiji
Note that Momiji is set up in the same way as the claims map, and was always intended as a colonizable world.

Re: Indigo and Momiji Maps
Well, could I tweak the maps just a little bit, please? No land mass will disappear, I'd like to make the coastline and mountains look more natural in some places. And of course change the look of polar continents, which is just unrealistic

You're welcome to improve the realism of the maps as much as you like. Your skills at graphic manipulation are far beyond mine, and produce far better results.
The map of Indigo was drawn very quickly, and part of it was based loosely on the map of Planet from SMAC. There's a lot of room for improvement there; rivers can be added, islands, etc. And I'm certainly not against refining the islands and distribution of landmass on Momiji. Just to note, Momiji was specifically drawn so that all the land fits together into one supercontinent.

Re: Indigo and Momiji Maps
(Sorry to butt in here:)
Are these additional planets going to accessible for colonization at some point? For example, if Micras fills up completely, or if MCS member states attain advanced enough space technology to make it there?
I apologize if this has been asked before. I'm relatively new here.

When it will be allowed, an official announcement will be made. It will probably happen only if the things you mentioned happen.
(Actually, many states do have the technology, but don't want to colonize either planet because e.g. they don't have budget for that. Plus Tarsica is neglected, why should we colonise other worlds without discovering what our Moon hides before our eyes)

OK, thank you for the answer! My country doesn't really have a space program yet, so the question was purely hypothetical.pawelabrams wrote:When it will be allowed, an official announcement will be made. It will probably happen only if the things you mentioned happen.
