Rugby League Development

Now that both Gotzborg and Victoria have become members of the FMRL we would much prefer to become active members within the sport.

The question I'd like to pose would be this. Does the Federation Micraise de Rugby League have any development plans in place to support new members with guidance on setting up leagues, maintaining player database etc?

I know from speaking with Joe that he will soon be using Rugby League 2 to generate match scores etc, is there the opportunity within that game for Gotzborg and Victoria to provide graphic items for kits, logos stadia etc?

I'm happy to look into editing the game myself, but my time is extremley limited and it seems a bit silly to have various people generating different edited versions of the game. Perhaps it would make more sense to have a central data base of edits i.e. players, kits, venues etc in one place. This would obviously keep confusion to a minimum and would greatly enhance the development of the sport at this current time.

Any guidane and support would be greatly appreciated.

At the minute, I've only been editing national teams, but I would be happy to send you copies of all logos and kits I've put into the game. Players and teams can be created in the game, but to edit kits and logos, there are generic kits in the folders that you can overwrite and not affect any other teams in the game.

I'd be more than happy to help out in creating kits, logos etc as I did in the past for the FMF. Obviously if national teams wanted kits created they'd need to make orders at Collins & Olsen, but any graphics required that help out the overall look on behalf of the FMRL I'd be happy to help out with.

It would be great to see the template used for the kits so that I could pass on Kits for Gotzborg and Victoria.

Are we both in agreement that having one edited version of the game would be the way forward?

Having one version would only work for international matches, there isn't enough space to create teams from every league in every FMRL member.

I've just emailed you the kit template.

Is it easy enough to send data on players back and forth? I ask because developing in Gotzborg, it would be nice to have their stats replicated for International matches

Well I haven't worked out where the player data is stored, as the players are edited directly within the game.

There in lies the problem with having more than one database, John Doe could be the best player on my version, but mediocre in your version.

Hi. If my application for Micras is accepted. I will be extremely happy to help you develop Rugby League in Micras. I am a massive Rugby League fan and the Florian Republic would like to join! (if accepted)
