Napian Police Arrest Two, Calbion FA Fined

Following the match between Safiria and Calbion in the MFF World Cup which saw Calbion lose 2-0, two Calbion fans were arrested by policemen after causing a very high disturbance in the Brabantia Underground. 14 more were told to return to their lodgings, and this was met with no protest. One Safirian fan was taken to the hospital, but looks to be fine. As well as this, the Calbion FA has been fined 10,000 Napian Dollars(2,000 Cr) for damages to the subway. The situation looks to be contained, as no more incidents have occurred since.

Official statement from the Calbionese Federation:
We disaprove with the acts of the Calbion hooligans, we think they should be punished according to Calbionese laws. But we will not pay any fine. These hooligans are free people with an own responsibility. The state of Calbion is not a nanny that have to be held responsible for the acts of their citizens. You may do with the captured hooligans as you like, and as your laws say.

Napian Police and Calbion representatives have come to an agreement that no fine shall be paid, but that the fans should be prosecuted under the full extent of the law.

Zeeburg vs Senya
The first game of the second round in group b would be crucial to keep alive two teams who had lost their first round matches, Zeeburg and Senya. Both sides would start the game with a lively tempo. And it wouldn't be long before the first chance was created. Hoed passed the ball to Visser, who neatly curled it around the defender. However, superb Senyan goalkeeping kept the ball out of the net. Visser would press on, but no chances would come to him. On the other side, in the latter part of the first half, Vozyek would rip a shot, but it would just skim the post. No real other chances would be created in the first half. In the second, Senya would come out on fire, with three quick chances. However, after a terrible tackle, Senya would be awarded a free kick. Keverson would step up to take it, and would slot it in the back of the net after 27 minutes of play. The Senyan supporters filled the hall with chants, and it seemed like Senya still would have the momentum to win. But, five minutes later, Visser would get other ideas. After a fierce rotation from Zeeburg, Visser would rocket a shot past the keeper and in! 1-1! After a few more half chances the game would end all squared, with each team awarded a piece. They would both hope Alexandria would defeat Hamland, so they could still have a shot.

Senya 1-1 Zeeburg
Keverson(SEN) 27'
Visser(ZEE) 32'

Hamland vs Alexandria
Probably one of the most exciting fixtures in the World Cup, the group match between Alexandria and Hamland did not dissapoint. With both sides trying to top the group, they would make sure to play their hardest. The early chances would fall to Hamland, with Chambers and Richardson both extracting saves out of Alain with in five minutes. Chambers again would go down the flank before switching it to Alan Cope, who would shoot it between the legs of Alain and in. 1-0 Hamland. Alexandria seemed to snap out of their daydreaming and turned on the engines. Kazim Al-Faiti would grab a goal with two minutes left to bring the sides in at 1-1 after about 5 minutes of domination from Alexandria. Halftime 1-1. The second half would see Alexandria continue to dominate, but with no goals. Josh Otalora would miss two clear chances, and Max Montego would do the same. With five minutes left, the match would be decided. Hamland had just hit the post off of a Richardson shot, and Alexandria went on the counter attack. Morris Harrison would tackle down Otalora. Since this was the sixth foul, a second spot pk was awarded. Otalora would step up to take it, and there would be no chance for the Hammish goalie as it would rocket in the upper right hand corner. 2-1! Alexandrian fans lept out of their seats as their side took the lead. Although Hamland would have a couple more chances, none would result in a goal as Alexandria would be claimed victors.
Hamland 1-2 Alexandria
Cope(HAM) 8'
Al-Faiti(ALX) 18'
Otalora(ALX) 35'
