First of all, I'm pleased to announce I've found Map1.0.0 on an old CD of Erik's, which predates the current first map we have in the Archives, 1.4.0, by a couple of months. The same CD also has Map 2.5.5 and 3.0.0, although this last one's saved as a PDF and I can't for the life of me convert it to something reasonable.
Also, here's Pawel's latest special map overlayed with an image map so that clicking on a country's name links you to that country. You can nab the imagemap from the page source code and stick it over any other version of the Special Map if you've got a better one around; the process for adding or deleting countries should be pretty evident from the code.
Also, if you click on Shirekeep on there, you'll get a glimpse of a next-generation project...

Actually, I believe that was the extent of the map back in those days.
