Nelagan side orbats
Re: Nelagan side orbats
I hate modern warfare because I don't know anything about any of the modern weapons, so if I get something wrong, just point it out to me. Thanks.

Didn't seem to be able to catch you to chat, so I'll post it here.
Infantry are fine. Normal aircraft carriers are only 1000, so by you costing it at 2000 I'll assume you intend for it to be very good AA/missile defence.
The planes are probably costed too low. Scott had flycycles, which are a similiar concept, costed at 10. Yours have considerably more weaponry. I'll let someone else pick a proper number, but I'd cost them higher.

750 i think is what Montague used for the JSF, or the F-35 in your case. Same thing anyway.
And yes, if its 2,000 for the aircraft carrier, do tell why its so highly-rated. You have to declare it now rather than later.
Also, since the capital is currently under attack, you can't start there. Choose nearest friendly city. Storyish, Krerdar, Cride seem the available choices. Not sure if Ter-Sog (sounds Klignon) is on sea or inland. Looks inland to me.

Re: Nelagan side orbats
If I'm reading the description right, these are very small planes, not full size aircraft ...

I had JSF at 500 (that's what a fighter's worth isn't it? I had it at standard fighter rate anyhow). I acknowledged that my ones could be picked up on radar when fully loaded though.

No the other things that he didn't describe, like tanks, bombers etc...What are? Your venom tanks? I think not.
Regarding the F-35, yeah if you want it stealthy then its 1,200. If you want it like just a normal aircraft (easily detectable on radar), then its 500.
Re: Nelagan side orbats
1,200 per plane? well, let me crunch the numbers when I get home tonight(about 4 hours from now) I'll fix up the orbat and post my moves from there. For right now, I believe my troops are at the Tokish capital.

Re: Nelagan side orbats
is 1200 for stealth fighters or for stealth bombers?
since im sure there is a distinction and an f-117 doesnt cost the same as a B-2

Re: Nelagan side orbats
you are right... no one ever used a B-2 before. atleast not after the Jaris war, anyway.
i'd say the stealth bomber would be 1,500, given that the bomber itself is 1000.

Re: Nelagan side orbats
I never said the venom's were tanks...
armored vehicle is a rather broad term, let me elaborate, they're essentially moderately armored jeeps that have been set low to the ground to increase stability.

Re: Nelagan side orbats
Read the description. It isn't a full-out bomber, but does have precision bombing capabilities.

80 T-Hawk Missle Bays(Beta) (8000)

100 Infantry (100)
Total: 25000
T-Hawk Missle Bay(Variant Alpha)
Worth:100
--Slow bulky armoured vehicle housing 10 alpha variant T-hawk missles. The alpha variant carries a kinetic armor piercing warhead housing an emp detonator. The emp detonation is so powerful that it effectivley disables all electronics in a given area for a given amount of time. Uses v5 TWCS control system.(most advanced)
T-Hawk Missle Bay(Variant Beta)
Worth:100
-Slow bulky armoured vehicle housing 10 Beta variant T-hawk missles. The beta variant has a armour piercing kinetic warhead. There is no armor that can withstand an impact from this missle. Contain 10 kg of franciam. Uses v5 TWCS control system.(most advanced)
T-Hawk Missle Bay(Variant Theta)
Worth: 100
-Slow bulky armoured vehicle housing 10 Theta variant T-hawk missles. The theta variant has a armour piercing encased hellfire warhead. Essentially, the warhead pierces the armor and explodes once inside. The hellfire explosive is of a thermobaric variant, meaning much more explosive than normal. Uses v5 TWCS control system.(most advanced)
