Claim (source: claimsmap v.14.2.1):
Notes:
We are reclaiming our lost lands in accordance with the MCS notice received on August 1st, regarding our removal from the MCS map on August 6th. The only criterion required to achieve this was to return to an average of over one post a day during the past month since that date, subject to excluding certain categories of post not approved by the Council. The average PPD over that period, reduced to meet that criterion, is 1.2258, so the criterion for reclamation has thus been met in full, and we await to see the Imperium's return on the next published edition of the MCS map.
To all and any nations that may covet any part of our lands: you are, as ever, welcome to initiate negotiations through the usual diplomatic channels, providing that you are willing to see them through to a successful conclusion. Success is not, however, guaranteed.
To all and any individuals who wish to do something constructive with part of our lands: you are, as ever, welcome to do so via the usual channels of obtaining citizenship, and then following through on your grand plans.
To anyone who wishes to do nothing but whinge against this reclaim, it is quite possible that the MCS would prefer that you do so elsewhere, so we invite you instead to come and whinge on our forums, as it will increase our activity and ensure that you have something to continue whinging about for many months to come.

Re: Imperium Incognita Reclaim
Thank you for your rather confident claim...
Re: Imperium Incognita Reclaim
Are you or are you not aware that certain islands there have been designed as prizes for the Wikiweek competition and have passed approval of the council for this purpose like two weeks ago? I think it's very unlikely you'll be getting back what you refer to as "Insulae Orientis" at this point.
So, like, whinge on that.

Also - I think Bjorn is going to be rather unimpressed by this turn of events.

As co-proprietor of the islands mentioned, I am interested in their history. When did you rule them? I don't see........

Re: Imperium Incognita Reclaim
*sighs* This is about as much activity and micronational simulation you guys have done for years. Also you ask us to look at your proposal without submitting an image then suspend us and negotiations because we didn't reply to your non image. Are you guys actually for real tho? wtf do you do over there other than greet spambots? do you have an actual plan to develop anything on the land or do you just want sit nice and pretty on land that your wasting whilst others actually want to develop and enrich it?
I'm bored of this shit and i'm bored with you. Perhaps the MCS should re-evaluate certain policies and allow the nations that don't meet the criteria to face being dropped for good or be invaded by any nation on the map tp invade them without needing their consent.
At any rate, I think you have a bit of a nerve typing in that tone and having the red neck to claim, knowing that you're not going to develop or look after the land. It's nothing but graphic and land abuse!

Re: Imperium Incognita Reclaim
In fairness Bjorn has a point, and hopefully - if this rather fatuous and transparent exercise is rejected by the MCS - Bjorn will submit an application for Victoria proper and then, again hopefully, it will be case closed, job done, matter ended, etc.
Taking the Imperium Incognita and Istvanistan together I am slightly concerned Iain is trying to exploit technicalities in the MCS charter to promote what can only be described as the rise of the zombie nations.

And whilst second accounts aren't specifically prohibited by the MCS, the combination of these two contentious claims with two identities is not particularly conducive to purpose of greater micronational trust and co-operation.

Re: Imperium Incognita Reclaim
The MCS should just force a land reduction due to low activity levels on Incognita, fairly giving Victoria what it wants and allowing this jewel of micras to come back.

You mean in the same way we forcefully removed them before for getting no posts at all (apart from automated welcome messages)?Matt Kovac wrote:The MCS should just force a land reduction due to low activity levels on Incognita

Some zombies good, some zombies bad?

This represents my personal opinion only.

That is why I deliberately included a link to the last claimsmap that we were on before we were forceably removed. As it is easily missed, here it is again: Claim (source: claimsmap v.14.2.1)Jacobus Loki wrote:As co-proprietor of the islands mentioned, I am interested in their history. When did you rule them? I assume you are referring to the image in this message?Dr Bjorn Olsen wrote:Also you ask us to look at your proposal without submitting an image then suspend us and negotiations because we didn't reply to your non image.
Perhaps Victoria would have declared a state of war if it had really wanted to.Dr Bjorn Olsen wrote:Perhaps the MCS should re-evaluate certain policies and allow the nations that don't meet the criteria to face being dropped for good or be invaded by any nation on the map tp invade them without needing their consent.
Craitman did, of course, officially invite us to reclaim our lost lands if we met certain criteria. We chose to accept that invitation.Ardashir Khan wrote:if this rather fatuous and transparent exercise is rejected by the MCS
The other account was registered a year ago here and no-one has cared about it until now. It has been used elsewhere for several years and Ardashir was probably the first person to be aware of it. At the risk of stating the obvious, as for the timing, that's entirely down to the MCS deciding on what to do with nations of low activity and when.Guido Zambelis wrote:And whilst second accounts aren't specifically prohibited by the MCS, the combination of these two contentious claims with two identities is not particularly conducive to purpose of greater micronational trust and co-operation.
Are you aware that day after Max posted his WikiWeek announcement with the link to the MCS Council approval, Craitman reassuringly informed us that the time of our one month period of grace would be respected by the Council in relation to any future claims by any nations? Fortunately, national sovereignty and personal possession are not entirely incompatible with each other.SaiKar wrote:Are you or are you not aware that certain islands there have been designed as prizes for the Wikiweek competition and have passed approval of the council for this purpose like two weeks ago? By "invite", you mean "make aware of the situation with the same notice posted on all removed nations' forums".siriain wrote:Craitman did, of course, officially invite us to reclaim our lost lands if we met certain criteria. We chose to accept that invitation.
And have those islands (or any of your previously claimed land) been modified in any way prior to the cut-off date of that "grace period"? I believe you'll find they haven't, so...siriain wrote:Are you aware that day after Max posted his WikiWeek announcement with the link to the MCS Council approval, Craitman reassuringly informed us that the time of our one month period of grace would be respected by the Council in relation to any future claims by any nations?
