Re: Kingdom of Juclandia's claim
Just replace 'No post' with 'No edit' in the charter rules. The MicroWiki nations seem to publish their news in MicroWiki articles so... You can simply check what they're linking to.

Re: Kingdom of Juclandia's claim
No other (human) citizen of Juclandia knew about Micras application. It was made by me because of MicroWiki users who were wishing to become citizens of Juclandia, but because this was not possible as micronation, I decided to apply as Micras at a user advice.
Kingdom of Juclandia retires its application.

Re: Kingdom of Juclandia's claim
I consider them to be too inactive when they haven't updated anything for three months, nor had any contact with us on this forum, which is effectively the same as having no posts on a forum for three months.
Why are you withdrawing your claim though, Ciprian? I'm not sure what's made you take this action, seeing as people have been relatively helpful since Malliki's postings

Re: Kingdom of Juclandia's claim
I still don't feel that this is an adequate method, how can one "prove" the number of citizens, other than register on this forum using a proxy if fake... there should at least be a size limit for those claiming via Microwiki or those that are "real life" micronations, as it is hard to justify larger claims.

Re: Kingdom of Juclandia's claim
It was Special Administrative Council's decision, not mine. (SAC is the "de facto" supreme power in Juclandia, consisting of all human citizens)
The reasons not directly specified:
1. The general insults and opposition againist Juclandia in the Micras community.
2. The general opinion about stuffed toys (the symbol of Juclandia)
3. Negative atmosphere leading to the possible bann of claims of Juclandia on Micras.
4. Decision taken by me personally, not announcing the members of SAC.
I just wanted to give it a try, "maybe the Micras community is very nice", but I changed my opinion: a community that doesn't like MW nations, that treats people from above.

Re: Kingdom of Juclandia's claim
Citizen numbers isn't as an important criterion as it was a few years ago though. For example, a nation with two active citizens with a lot of regularly updated MicroWiki articles is deserving of a larger claim than a nation which claims to have ten citizens but only one article which hasn't been touched for months
And thanks for clearing that up Ciprian! It seems that our two communities have even more in common, with one insulting/looking-down on the other then

Re: Kingdom of Juclandia's claim
So just for future reference, for those who do not use microwiki, would an equivilent "update" be posting cultural development, backstories, military products etc?

By the way, great PR guys. Really, stellar job.
Yeah, updating a Wiki article with a new military gizmo is equivilent to posting a thread about a new military gizmo. It's not that much different, considering Wikis have 'talk' pages for every article which are the same as a discussion thread for a title post. With the exception of 'registered members' (which is just as easy a thing to fake on a forum) there's little difference between Microwiki activity and forum based activity, it's just a different medium.
Oh, and again, you nailed that diplomacy check there fellas, just thought I'd remind you of that.

Re: Kingdom of Juclandia's claim
Wow, even meme-spamming a thread doesn't get people to shut up and let the council do their job without having to hear why or why not we should allow wiki nations in? People accuse me of being unable to shut up but I see the very people to say that unable to do the same in this thread. Until the Charter says otherwise, wiki nations will be allowed in, for better or worse. If you don't like it, file a proper complaint with the MCS in the complaints subforum and quit marauding this thread with petty arguments. At this point, I think Craitman should probably lock this thread as it is getting absolutely nowhere except further down in a hole.
