Football/sports in general
I've noticed that sports are the main driving factor in a handful of otherwise inactive nations. I was wondering, how is it justified for countries to retain large territorial claims, when the only activity pertains to FMF?

Well, having a domestic sports league is definitely cultural, so if they're getting enough activity to not merit a reduction/removal, I personally have no problem with them maintaining their claims. The same applies if a nation's activity was mostly made-up of a simulated economy or constructing a language, for example
