Hello there!

Hello there!
Greetings. How are things? I'm actually a returning micronationalist but have been away for some time and want to start afresh because it would be fun. Would like to join a new micronation, probably a younger/smaller one, in a sort of advisory role. I'm pretty clued up on lots of things like economics, politics and long walks on the beach.
It has been about 2 or 3 years since I seriously posted here. It seems pretty quiet. Is anyone left?

Re: Hello there!
Having noticed your email address and put two and two together with your username, I have a pretty good feeling I know who you are
Evidently, I'm still trapped here, but a good amount of those who you were probably familiar with back in the day have moved-on or are nowhere near as active anymore. A good lot of nations are still standing, but there have been a few big fallers over the past months, unfortunately.
You're always welcome back in the Craitish lands if you want to pop-in for a cuppa sometime...

Re: Hello there!
Haha. I'm making it semi-obvious but more a statement of intent that I don't want to be front line. Will pop along.
Edit - out of interest. Are there any Game of Thrones style countries. Would be good to have a bit of civil war going on.

Re: Hello there!
There was some place north of Interland, I can't recall its name. But you can see the ruins of King's Castle, Casterly Rock and stuff there. 110 East, 20 North...

Well, you could join my micronation, Safiria. We could use a living breathing Chancellor and more advisors. :3Gordoth wrote:Would like to join a new micronation, probably a younger/smaller one, in a sort of advisory role. Indeed, Shireroth (forum, Wiki) describes itself, truly or not, as:
We fit the bill in so far as we can on occasion seem a bit like Game of Thrones, but we're not that new. If you're experienced, perhaps you know us or have been a member. I won't be offended if you don't sign up, but we're always looking for new and energetic members of our community. The largest and oldest country on Micras. Accept no substitutes. Full of diverse fiefdoms, feuding nobles, and treasonous plots. More laws, traditions, and history than you can shake a stick at - and a healthy tendency to ignore most of them. If you've ever read a George R.R. Martin book and wondered what it would be like with nuclear weapons, join and find out.

There's been a couple of forum moves since you were last around, so just to make sure you're looking in the right place: http://www.mncommunities.org/hamland/forum/index.phpGordoth wrote:Hamland seems impossible to sign into these days.

Re: Hello there!
Welcome back to the community. If you're into economics, feel free to visit Gotzborg some time. We've recently restarted our economic system and our Vice-Minister of Commerce & Industry, Ross Kilder, has implemented a rather structured approach compared to what is the historic norm in Micras (and it appears to be working out for us early on). There's still work to do on the structure of our system, including facilitating foreign currency exchange workably (we've decided against using the SCUE common currency) so if you want to share your knowledge, we'd certainly welcome that input. Foreigners and Gotzers alike are welcomed to participate in the economy.
Re: Hello there!
Will pop over. I'm not the most qualified economist but I actually cover quite a bit of political economy so am happy to give a hand if people need it.
Problem in micronations has always been to create systems which look like real ones but are unwieldy rather than create ones people would actually use.

Hey from Senya, the sporty micronation with a lot of trains in the North West of Apollonia. We don't have a forum, but we're still awesome
