Bastion Union discussing future purpose
(Yeah, been awhile since the last update, I'll try to publish more regularly again)

Re: Coprieta Standard updates
Don't bother, the Micran Times has already taken over the leading position of the Standard.

You'll have to publish more than a few articles to catch up

Re: Coprieta Standard updates
I'm not picking on you when I say this, but I'm getting a bit tired of constantly reading about the Bastion Union. Every once in a while, I'd really like to read about Uantir and Juclandia and Tiana. Who the hell is Tiana? Surely they've got things going on.

Update: Craitish parliament authorizes Micras expansion
Re: Your comment, Duke Sinclair:
Uantir hasn't had any overt activity to report on in months, and even then, it's a post or two every six months at the best of times. As a result, it's fallen off the regular circuit for the Standard, though I do still check their forum sporadically.
Juclandia/Tiana are MicroWiki nations that lack forums, which is the main prerequisite for regular coverage by the Standard (i.e. I look for discussions to report on, not updates to their MicroWiki article that provide little context of the debate or decisions behind them). Unless they have a forum or similar publicly-accessible spot for discussions that I can monitor which I'm unaware of? If you do have forums/discussion group links for any of the MicroWiki nations, by all means please do share, as then they go on the rotation list for me to monitor for news. From what I've seen, most MicroWiki nations do things over Skype, which is not something that I can regularly monitor unfortunately.
Generally most MicroWiki-related articles on the Standard tend to come about due to discussions at the MicroWiki forum, or because I see an interesting article in that community's media and dig a little deeper to bring relevant facts to the Standard's primary audience (Micras) which is largely disconnected from MicroWiki news.
Best assured that I do my best to find news to write on for all the micronations that I monitor, which is why you see articles from even the Francophone Sector in the Standard's archives, even though most in Micras likely aren't that interested in such news. With the Standard recently restarting after a 6 week break, I've been focusing on the major discussions and topics on Micras which, whether one likes it or not, generally involved the Bastion Union. I'm satisfied that the major current Bastion Union discussions have been covered now, which is why you'll be seeing more normalized coverage return in which regular news items from throughout the community get the coverage that the Standard has always afforded them.
It's also important to note that I try to publish articles based on the Sections of the Standard (Micras, MicroWiki, Finance, Culture, History, Sport, Interviews, Opinion), aiming to try to spread out the main topics as much as possible over the course of publication. As such, sometimes a political event (for example) on Micras will not be reported on so that I can add an article to the Culture section, etc.
I am but one man, with a busy macronational schedule and a plate full of micronational commitments. I do what I can to cover the major news items of the community and everyone fairly, but sometimes one side loses out to the other I'm afraid. I'm always willing to give individuals authorship permissions on the Standard if they want to help out with reporting the news that I can't get to
And do note that while an article may start with "BASTION UNION (CS)", this is the 'location being reported out of', not necessarily the place being reported on. Several of the Bastion Union tagged articles are actually about general intermicronational discussions and topics that just happen to occur there but are nonetheless relevant to all.
